BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 1st JANUARY 2026 IT IS ABOUT ETERNAL LIFE John 3:14-15 Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him." (NIV) When the Israelites grumbled against God and Moses in the wilderness God sent a venomous snake which bit and killed some of them. When they confessed their sins to God before Moses and repented, God told Moses to make a bronze snake and hang it on a pole that whoever got bitten by a snake and look at the bronze snake would live. Numbers 21:9 So Moses made a bronze snake and put it up on a pole. Then when anyone was bitten by a snake and looked at the bronze snake, they lived. The Bible likens this to Jesus being hung on the cross.
