BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 10th MARCH 2026 DO NOT BE AFRAID Revelation 1:17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: "Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. (NIV) In life we face things that at times make us afraid, even things intended for our good like John the revelator who saw Jesus and became afraid. Yes, he was full of awe of Jesus but He was also full of fear. Fear has a connection with lack of precise knowledge. Jesus said to him "Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last."  And He says the same to you today, "Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last." Fear paralyzes; it keeps one at a place, unmotivated and unwilling. Fear keeps one away from God's best. So much is lost to fear. But knowledge of the truth produces faith, and faith conquers fear.  Jesus said "I am the First and the Last, don't be afraid." You are in between Him. He is b...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 9th MARCH 2026 LOVE IS AN ANSWER Proverbs 10:12 Hatred stirs up conflict, but love covers over all wrongs. (NIV) There is actually only one reason for the conflict and fight in the world; absence of love. Hatred breeds conflict. If you had a conflict or disagreement with someone it would flair up in a moment if you nurture hatred or resentment towards the fellow. Hatred accelerate conflict but love covers over all wrongs. Love is an answer.  Love is the answer to the fight and feud in the world. If someone did something that offends you don't harbour hatred or plan on revenge, that's not the answer, respond in love. Don't create space in your heart to keep the wrongs done to you it harms you than it does the opposite fellow. Forgive and let your love cover over it. Love covers over all wrongs. If you find it difficult to let go of the wrongs done to you that means you have got to grow your love some more. Your heart of ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 8th MARCH 2026 GOD SPECIALIZES IN BLESSING Isaiah 51:2 look to Abraham, your father, and to Sarah, who gave you birth. When I called him he was only one man, and I blessed him and made him many. (NIV) Blessing is synonymous with God. He loves to bless. He is more willing to bless us than we are willing to be blessed. Blessing is God's idea. When you read through the scriptures you would find that all the people who walked with God faithtully were so blessed of God. In fact in Bible days blessing was a mark of those who served God, and the same is true today. Listen to God's words in our theme verse again, Isaiah 51:2 look to Abraham, your father, and to Sarah, who gave you birth. When I called him he was only one man, and I blessed him and made him many. Oh there is so much to this! First, He is saying look at Abraham and Sarah examples of the blessed. When I called him he was only one man, and I blessed him and made him ma...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 7th MARCH 2026 EXOUSIA AND DUNAMIS Mark 16:17-18 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” (NIV) The Lord Jesus said in His Name we can drive out demons; speak in new tongues; pick up snakes with our hands; and when we drink deadly poison it will not hurt us at all; we will place our hands on sick people, and they will get well. But how is this possible? Through His authority and power. The authority and power He gave us is actually Exousia and Dunamis in Greek word respectively. Exousia means lawful authority to occupy a position of superiority. While Dunamis is a divine and dynamic ability or power to cause changes. Exousia is being lawful to do something, while Dunamis is an ab...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 6th MARCH 2026 YOUR FAITH IS YOUR VICTORY 1 John 5:4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. (NIV) This verse above implies that for you to enjoy your victory in Christ requires your faith. Although everyone who is born of God overcomes the world living perpetually in that victory has to do with personal faith. Everyone who is born of God has equal victory over the world, satan and his evil works. But it's obvious that not every Christian is enjoying or experiencing this victory. And that because the level of victory you enjoy or experience is dependent on your personal faith. When you got born again you were born with faith. But that faith is a seed, and it cannot do everything you would have to do in this world, it won't be enough to win over every contention. You have a responsibility to grow your faith by continuously and consistently feeding on the ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 5th MARCH 2026 LIVE ABOVE IT Galatians 5:24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. (NIV) The flesh has its passions and desires. Those ruled by the flesh are eventually ruined by the flesh. Don't let the flesh control you. The flesh refers to your outward self or human body without the Holy Spirit. You have an inward self and outward self. Even though you are born again and the Holy Spirit dwells in your inward self, if your outward self is not subdued to your inward self it would control you. The flesh (your outward self) always seeks to dominate you. If allowed it would rule over you even though you are born again and when it does rule it ruins.  Those who belong to Christ (those born again) have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If you don't know and walk in the consciousness of this as your reality the passions and desires of the flesh would still be exp...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 4th MARCH 2026 PRAYER IS A SOLUTION James 5:13 Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. (NIV) When some people find themselves in a precarious situation and in search of solution, and you say let us pray about it. They look at you and say 'I am talking about a serious problem that needs a serious solution and you are saying let us pray.' That's how some people reason. But prayer is a solution; a powerful and quick one.  The Bible says "Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray." This is God's solution to problem. He didn't say 'Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them cry, beg, run around or look for money.' Prayer is God's remedy for you in time of trouble. If you find yourself in a problem prayer is what you should employ. To some people prayer is for those who has no option or for the weak. They think you pray because you don'...
