(NIV) An Angel speaking to Zechariah about the birth of John the Baptist and his ministry said many things and one of them was "the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous." His ministry would turn the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous. The wisdom of the righteous is a mindset of the righteous that pre-dictated their thoughts, words and actions. The mindset of the righteous is a mind which know, understand and live in the will of God. It is a mind dominated by the word (will) of God. The disobedient are the unbelievers. BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 29th APRIL 2026 WE LIVE IN HIS PRESENCE Hosea 6:2 After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence. (NIV) After the transgression of Adam God drove him away from His presence. Humanity was literally driven away from God's presence in the spirit realm. Man was driven from God's presence (His glory). But in Christ those who are born again are freely justified, revived and restored back into God's presence. Romans 3:23-24 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. Hosea speaking prophetically pointed to Christ triumphant resurrection from the dead after three days which he said means revival (brought back to life) and restoration (being restored to glory) for mankind. BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 28th APRIL 2026 GIVEN A BODY FOR A CAUSE Hebrews 10:5-6 Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said: "Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me; with burnt offerings and sin offerings you were not pleased. (NIV) Jesus was with God the Father before He came into this world. He was the Word of God and was in the beginning with God -- John 1:1. When He came into the world He put on a human body. And He did that for a reason. The Jesus the Jews saw was not all that He was. He only tabernacled Himself in that body. He was given a body for a cause. He came from heaven to be the payment for man's sin. And He needed a human body to accomplish that. He came to be an atoning sacrifice for man's sin. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. (NIV) One of the reasons people don't receive answers to prayer is self-centeredness. They put too much focus on themselves; their qualification, effort, righteousness, church commitment, wrongs and short-comings. Get your eyes off yourself unto Him who answers prayer. The more you focus on yourself the weaker your faith, the more you focus on God the stronger your faith. It is God who answers prayer. He explained to Jesus how that the demon has often thrown the boy into fire or water to kill him and then he said "But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us." Jesus response was "’If you can’?" said Jesus. "Everything is possible for one who believes." - Mark 9:23. The man was looking at Jesus' ability to heal the boy. Jesus was looking for the man's faith. It is not about God's ability but man's faith. Jesus said "Everything is possible for one who believe." Since we have that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore speak, (NIV) The first thing you require for every challenge is your faith. You might think it's money, but no! It even take faith to use money wisely. An active faith is the only answer to life's unending challenges. And an active faith speaks.  When you find yourself in the middle of an unpleasant circumstance what you need to do is speak forth God's word. But at times you find yourself struggling to put words of faith together, in such case you need to stir up your faith from within. At that point your faith is on a low level and as you stir it up it rises. And there are two primary ways to stir up your faith.  The first is speaking in tongues.
