BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 25th APRIL 2026 STIR UP FAITH FROM WITHIN 2 Corinthians 4:13 It is written: "I believed; therefore I have spoken." Since we have that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore speak, (NIV) The first thing you require for every challenge is your faith. You might think it's money, but no! It even take faith to use money wisely. An active faith is the only answer to life's unending challenges. And an active faith speaks.  When you find yourself in the middle of an unpleasant circumstance what you need to do is speak forth God's word. But at times you find yourself struggling to put words of faith together, in such case you need to stir up your faith from within. At that point your faith is on a low level and as you stir it up it rises. And there are two primary ways to stir up your faith.  The first is speaking in tongues. As you do the Holy Spirit brings scriptures to your mind and inspire them in your...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 24th APRIL 2026 PRAYING PROPHECY 1 Kings 18:41-42 And Elijah said to Ahab, "Go, eat and drink, for there is the sound of a heavy rain." So Ahab went off to eat and drink, but Elijah climbed to the top of Carmel, bent down to the ground and put his face between his knees. (NIV) You remember this wonderful account in the Bible. It hadn't rained in the land for three years and six months. Elijah walked up to Ahab King of Israel and said "Go, eat and drink, for there is the sound of a heavy rain." That was a prophecy by Elijah. But He didn't go with Ahab to eat and drink. Instead the Bible says "Elijah climbed to the top of Carmel, bent down to the ground and put his face between his knees." What was he doing? Praying his prophecy to reality. You would hear some people complain and say 'I received a prophecy that I would get the job, but it didn't happen.' You would hear another say ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 23rd APRIL 2026 GOD'S SPECIAL POSSESSION 1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. (NIV) God's dream had always been to have a special people unto Himself. A people that would bear His name. When He called the Israelites His intention was to make them His special possession. Deuteronomy 14:2 for you are a people holy to the LORD your God. Out of all the peoples on the face of the earth, the LORD has chosen you to be his treasured possession. For the disobedient of the Israelites that dream was short lived. At some time in their walk with God they went into exile for their sins and rebellion. But God didn't give up on His dream. In Christ He made the church His special and treasured possession.  If you are born again you are not just another person on the face of the...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 22nd APRIL 2026 BEFORE PROMOTION Daniel 3:30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the province of Babylon. (NIV) There are some promotion that comes with a test. The test is not from God but He allows it. The test is not to qualify you for the promotion but to test how mature you are to occupy such a position.  The Bible says in Daniel 3:30 "Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the province of Babylon" Before their promotion was a great of their faith. Often the test that precedes promotion is a test of ones faith; it often has to do with ones faith in God.  Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego's faith in God was tested, and when they passed the test the king promoted them. The king of Babylon had set up a huge image and decreed that everyone should bow down and worship it or be thrown into a blazing fire. But Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego wouldn't.  Daniel 3:17-18 If we are thro...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 21st APRIL 2026 HE SUPPLIES Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (KJV) When faced with a pressing need we tend to look to everything else but God, yet the Bible says He supplies all our needs according to His riches in Glory by Christ Jesus. The mistake some often make is looking to channels as their source. When God use a channel to supply to you He does not expect you to set your confidence in that channel; at times God use a channel one-off. But some would stay with a channel that God has moved on from. Your job is important but recognize that it`s only a channel God uses. Your job will fail, your business will fail, friends-support will fail and every other channel will fail, only God the source will not fail. And He supplies continuously. To receive supply from God one has to first of all turn his attention away from channels. When your hope is fixed on a part...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 20th APRIL 2026 IT SHOULD BE OF VALUE TO YOU 2 Samuel 24:24 But the king replied to Araunah, "No, I insist on paying you for it. I will not sacrifice to the LORD my God burnt offerings that cost me nothing." So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen and paid fifty shekels of silver for them. (NIV) When it comes to giving there are those whose hands are tight-fisted even when it is giving in the house of God. They are never comfortable when it's time to give or talk of giving is mentioned. And when they are eventually persuaded to give they give what doesn't cost them anything. In the above verse, King David said "I will not sacrifice to the LORD my God burnt offerings that cost me nothing." To him if it cost nothing it doesn't have any value. If it will be of value it has to cost something. What you give to others and in the house of God should be of value to you.  There are those when they wa...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 18th APRIL 2026 HE IS EVERYWHERE Psalm 139:7 Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? (NIV) The presence of God is everywhere. Infact existence exist inside His presence. God is everywhere. We all live inside God. Heavens is His throne and the earth His footstool. His presence is everywhere and everything is in His presence. Nothing can exist outside God's presence. Hell is in God's presence; God's presence is in hell.  David by the Spirit spoke of God's presence. Psalm 139:8-12 If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths(HELL), you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. If I say, "Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me," even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for...
