It is first His dream for us to be prosperous, victorious and successful before it became our dream and pursuit. There are things He appoints a time to have them happen for us. Until it is that time they might not manifest and then we interpret them as being slow.  It only seems slow to you not to God. He has a time for it. You might say "can't He just tell me the time appointed for it?" If He does you won't walk in faith. He doesn't have to tell you that you will get married next year when you are praying to get married this year, though He does at times.  You can tell from your experiences that there were things you wanted to have happen ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 25th JULY 2026 PRE-ORDAINED PATHS Ephesians 2:10 For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [TAKING PATHS WHICH HE PREPARED AHEAD OF TIME], THAT WE SHOULD WALK IN THEM [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]. (AMP) This above scripture clearly says that God has preordained paths for us to walk in. We don't just walk or live, we live in preordained paths. To preordain or predestine means to plan ahead of time, that is before one was born. God prepared our lives; how we should live through this world and what we should be about before we came. We came into this world because of His preordained purpose. We fullfill His preordained purpose by walking in His preordained paths. What is preordained paths? And if we know that he hears us —whatever we ask —we know that we have what we asked of him. (NIV) Asking according to His will simply means asking according to His word in His Name. When you ask God for anything according to the provision of the Gospel it is His will, and He answers. Jesus said '...whatever you ask in my name' John 16:23 In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. This is what it is to ask according to His will: asking in the Name of Jesus according to the truth of the Gospel. For example it is a Gospel truth that Jesus took away our diseases and infirmities - Matthew 8:17. It is a Gospel truth that He brought us into His riches - 2 Corinthians 8:9. If I were si...

(NIV) We are more than conquerors; more than victorious because we resulted from Jesus' victory. We are the fruit of His victory; His trophy of victory.  We resulted from the victory of Christ over sin, death, the flesh and the world. We are more than just victors; we are the trophy of the Victor, Christ. Jesus won for us but more than that we are His reward.  Live conscious of your victory in Christ. You are more than victorious. In Christ you already overcome the world and everything in it. When the devil and contrary situations rises against you rise above them. Don't cower under opposition, don't hide. Put the word in your mouth and get talking; proclaim your victory in Christ. Remind the devil and the troubles that surrounds you of your victory in Christ. Praise God! Apostle Paul referring to going to heaven as his destination said "I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead," There was so much behind him, what he had accomplished with the Gospel, but there was also so much ahead of him what he could do with the Gospel and going to heaven. He had to choose where to focus, and he chose to focus on what lies ahead. So much is behind you, the very good moments, and the not very good moments. (NIV) God doesn't leave His work halfway. He doesn't abandon His work. His plan for your life is to complete all the good works He has started. If you find some things inconsistent with His will it's not that He failed, no! It only means that man failed in lining up with His will. If you face challenges in the things you are doing for the Kingdom don't be perturbed, God is committed to it. He began it to finish it, He will not leave you midway. He keeps to His word concerning you and the good works you are doing. Your role is in His word too. Trust the word and live in the light of it. His word is His assurance.
