BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 6th JUNE 2026 SING TO HIM A NEW SONG Psalms 33:3-4 Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy. For the word of the LORD is right and true; he is faithful in all he does. (NIV) One of the ways to praise and glorify God is through song. And true song must be rooted in the heart. Worshipping God with generic songs is good but creating songs from your heart to the Lord is better. In your moment of worship listen to your heart. If you listen well enough a new song would spring from it. The Psalmist said "Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy. For the word of the LORD is right and true; he is faithful in all he does." -- Psalm 33:3-4 The Word of the Lord is right and true. It is through a meditation on the Word that you get a Spirit-inspired song. There is a new song for every new season, and it is only the Holy Spirit who can inspire those songs in you. When the Lord is about to do a new th...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 5th JUNE 2026 RISE UP FROM WITHIN 1 John 4:4 You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. (NIV) Never find yourself downcast and without an option. Never find yourself knocked down or knocked out. Never be a victim in life. For the Christian there is actually one way to be strengthened; it's from within.  If you are overwhelmed by the world and its circumstances turn your attention to within. If you ever find yourself going down the drain look within. Strength comes from within. If there are challenges that you want to rise above you will have to rise above them first from within. When you learn to function from your spirit the supernatural will be your every day experience. A continuous rise in life is the desire of everyone. No one wants to go downwards. Everyone wants to rise higher in their business, job, career, family, marriage, finance...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 4th JUNE 2026 DON'T FORGET WHO YOU ARE 1 John 4:4 You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. (NIV) Who you are is the reason for your victory. Everything is defined by its nature. A man's essence is his nature. Having been born of God you have His nature. This defines who and how you are. Never forget this! Don't forget who you are.  The reason some christians suffer what the rest of the world suffers is lack of the consciousness of who they truly are. Who you are in Christ is your everything. Peter who denied knowing Jesus before a little girl stood before thousands of people and testified to the Gospel of Christ. One time he and John were going to the temple to worship when stopped by a lame beggar who asked them for money. Peter responded, "Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Chr...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 3rd JUNE 2026 THOSE WITH US 2 Kings 6:16 "Don’t be afraid," the prophet answered. "Those who are with us are more than those who are with them." (NIV) The king of Aram sent army to get Elisha the Man of God because time after time he revealed to the king of Israel the plans and strategies he made to attack the Israelites. When the army got to where Elisha was they surrounded the whole place. His servant woke up early in the morning and found out that they were surrounded by soldiers. In fear he cried out to the Man of God "what shall we do?"  Let us read, 2 Kings 6:14-17 Then he sent horses and chariots and a strong force there. They went by night and surrounded the city. When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early the next morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city. "Oh no, my lord! What shall we do?" the servant asked. "Don’t be afraid," the...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 2nd JUNE 2026 BORN FOR A TIME AS THIS Esther 4:14 For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?" (NIV) Esther became queen at a time when the Jews were in exile in the Citadel of Susa. She was an orphan brought up by Modecai. After she became queen of the Citadel of Susa, Haman the King's highest official plotted the annihilation of all the Jews in all the provinces under Citadel of Susa because of his hatred for Modecai and all Jews.  When this plot became known to Modecai he brought the news to Esther and implored her to do something to stop it. And one striking statement he made was "... And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?" Esther might have been perplexed and wonder why suc...

WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 1st JUNE 2026 IT DEPENDS ON YOUR FAITH Luke 7:50 Jesus said to the woman, "Your faith has saved you; go in peace." (NIV) All the people who received miracle from the Lord Jesus in the Bible was through their faith. Bible has the records. The Master couldn't do many miracles at His hometown because the people lacked faith. Through a careful study of this subject we can tell that miracle, salvation and blessing depends on ones faith. One time Jesus was in the boat with His disciples and fell asleep. Suddenly a strong wind came against the boat such that it was about to drown. His disciples woke Him up. He spoke to the raging wind and it stilled. He asked His disciples a question in Luke 8:25 "Where is your faith?" he asked his disciples. In fear and amazement they asked one another, "Who is this? He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him." What was required for them to calm the stor...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 31st MAY 2026 THE SCRIPTURES WERE WRITTEN FOR US Romans 15:4 For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope. (NIV) The Bible is not a record book; it was not written so that what happened could be kept safe, nor is it a history book -- a mere story of what happened in the past. No! Everything written in the Bible was written for us with a purpose. Apostle Paul by the Spirit tells us in Romans 15:4 "For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope." The scriptures was meant to teach and enlighten us so that we could have endurance, encouragement, faith and hope. We do not only learn through the wisdom of the Scriptures but also through the characters (people) and thei...
