BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 15th FEBRUARY 2026 PRAYER KEEPS YOU IN GOD'S WILL Matthew 26:41 "Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak." (NIV) Jesus during His days on earth prayed often, first for fellowship with the Father, second to keep Himself in God's will and purpose. His personal prayer to God was not of needs. He did not ask God for things. Understanding and committing oneself to this higher purpose of prayer is paramount to filling divine purpose.  Your prayer life should be much more than a means to ask things from God. You won't even enjoy the pleasure of praying if it's always about your needs. Just spend time talking to God about His goodness, mercy, love and blessings in your life. Worship, listen and enjoy His presence. Pray often in other tongues. Doing these keeps you in His will.  This is one of the reasons when you are praying to God about a particular t...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 14th FEBRUARY 2026 THE EXCELLENCY OF WISDOM Ecclesiastes 7:12 For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it. (KJV) Money is surely a defence. Money is surely an answer. Money does so much but it cannot give life. Money is a shelter as wisdom is a shelter but the excellency of wisdom is that it gives life. Money is a spiritual substance as wisdom is a spiritual substance but wisdom is a living thing. Money is indispensable on earth just as wisdom but wisdom exceeds time; that means unlike money wisdom will be required in heaven. That's the excellency of wisdom. God doesn't want His children to live without wisdom. Wisdom is life. There is the wisdom of men, wisdom of the world, earthly wisdom, but there is the wisdom of God. This is what gives life and makes men excellent and outstanding success in life. And this wisdom is freely given to us....

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 13th FEBRUARY 2026 THE EXPRESSION OF THE FATHER John 5:19 Jesus gave them this answer: "Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. (NIV) Jesus in His earthly days lived only to please the Father. His life was solely an expression of the Father. He talked and acted only as the Father would. He was an expression of the Father.  He did and acted out what He heard and saw the Father did. He was an earthly manifestation of the Heavenly Father; a visible form of the invisible God. When you saw Jesus you saw God. He was everything God. John 5:30 By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me. That is what it means to be Son of God. Son of God is not one born of God as in reproduction. But God in a human body; the expression or representation ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 12th FEBRUARY 2026 HE HAS BLESSED YOU 2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. (NIV) This above scripture is fulfilled. It's not actually a promise but what God has already done for you by Christ Jesus. And He is able to cause that blessing to manifest in your life such that in all things at all times you have all that you need and require no aid or support from anyone, and abound in every good work and charitable donation.  God's dream for you is that you have abundance so that you are not only sufficient but also able to finance the work of the Kingdom and help others too. Lack and want is not God's plan for His children. No one can fulfill God's purpose for his life through lack and want. In fact one of your purposes in life is to walk in the unsearchable riches of Christ.  The first step in walking...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 11th FEBRUARY 2026 GOD'S CO-WORKERS 2 Corinthians 6:1 As God’s co-workers we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain. (NIV) The grace we have received in Christ made us co-workers with God. We not only work for the Kingdom but also owns it. With that, we don't work for God but work with Him. A functioning Christian has the same interest for the Kingdom as God does. Our labour in the Kingdom transcends a desire for reward to a responsibility we owe.  Our fellow Christians are also our co-workers in God's service. If Christians embrace this fact that we all are about the same business there wouldn't be strife and fighting. Everyone would work for everyone, everything for the common good; the benefit of all. 1 Corinthians 3:9 For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building. God's field and building is the church. Every member is a tree in God's field. Every member is a living sto...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 10th FEBRUARY 2026 HIS WORD DOESN'T RETURN TO HIM Isaiah 55:10-11 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. (NIV) If this scripture is true, and it is, then God's word concerning you that you haven't experienced is not because it is void of power or it becomes invalid, it must be for some other reasons. Based on this above scripture it means God's word concerning you that hasn't come to pass is still very much alive. There is no problem with what God has said to do in your life. The problem is not the Word. The Word will not return to God without fulfillment; the word concerning you is around you.  When a farmer ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 9th FEBRUARY 2026 DON'T PUT OUT GRACE Galatians 2:21 I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!" (NIV) The major problem of some Christians is not the challenges they face in life but not rightly applying the truth of the Gospel of Christ. A lot of them set aside the grace of God. No Christian can become anything without Grace, and humanity cannot exist without mercy.  Out of ignorance some set aside the grace God made freely available to them, yet they complain of the troubles they go through. The Bible says "for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing." Yet there are those who haven't accepted the righteousness of God that is by faith in Jesus Christ. They set that Grace aside; they put it out. Don't put aside God's grace in your life. There are manifold graces, that is, many-sided graces, or i...
