From Abraham to Jacob, and David and all others who walked with God everything He promised them pointed to Christ.  He said to Abraham in Genesis 13:15 For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever. And that seed He referred was Christ, Galatians 3:16 The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 11th JULY 2026 EVERYONE IS A STEWARD 1 Timothy 6:7 For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. (NIV) If everyone would accept this simple but sublime truth in this above scripture no one would fight anyone for anything. The world would be a better place. We brought nothing physically into this world and it is certain we would take nothing when leaving. Yet people live their lives for things. How foolish! No matter what you have in this world you are only a steward of it, you will definitely leave it behind as someone else left it behind for you. The land you own today was owned by many different people over many years before it got to you, it is certain that you will leave it for someone too. So why the fight and killing for material things? (KJV) When you believed in Jesus and got born again you were born victor over satan because you were born with God inside of you. To be born again means to be born with a new nature; and it is God's nature. You have the nature of God on the inside of you. When people are faced with daunting challenge they began looking for a solution, knowing fully well that satan is responsible for their ordeal they want victory over him. But you don't need victory over satan because you already got it. You were born victorious over satan. You are not responsible for your victory over satan, you were born that way. (NIV) Jesus' purpose of coming to this world was to give life to mankind. Man died spiritually through Adam but made alive through Christ. In John 10:10 Jesus said "...I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." Obviously it was a spiritual life, and it is the God-kind of life. We live this life in His Name. What does it mean to live in His Name? It means to live in His stead or place. We live His life for Him. The life has the same quality in us as it is with Him. It didn't become different in us. BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 8th JULY 2026 EVERYDAY IS BLESSED Psalm 118:24 This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. (ESV) You would hear people say "today is not a good day, business is poor, I'm not happy today." But that has nothing to do with the day itself, but everything to do with the individual. Everyday is blessed and everyday is a blessing. Look for the blessing of each day and appropriate it for yourself, everyday is blessed by God. God made each and every day for your good, fulfillment and enjoyment. The Bible says "this is the day that the LORD has made;..." All you have to do is respond to the day and say "I will rejoice and be glad in it."  There is no bad day, only that bad things happen on a good day. The problem is not with the day. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. (NIV) Apostle John writing to the church said in 3 John 1:4 "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth." This is an expression of the Spirit through him. God rejoices when we walk in the truth, and one of those truths is freedom.  It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. This simply means freedom is the purpose for which He set us free. He wants us to live freely. Freedom from sin, satan, the flesh and their influences. Amongst these three, the flesh is man's greatest enemy. BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 6th JULY 2026 PROCLAIM HIS PEACE John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. (NIV) In a world of turbulence and unrest you can be at peace within and then without. Peace has to be within first, if you don't have peace in your heart you can't have it in your life; everything that has to do with you would be unsettled; job, business, family, finance, etc. Interestingly Jesus said "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you." This simply means peace is in your possession. You have peace, Christ's peace. But if you don't proclaim it you cannot experience it. Learn to proclaim His peace. Consciously declare that you have peace. Take hold of peace, don't live in anxiety. Talk peace; confess peace; declare peace.  Also learn to enforce peace in your life, locality, city and nation.
