(NIV) Understanding your identity in Christ is vital to experiencing your victory in Christ. It is only in Christ that you are everything God made you. Who you are in Christ is not your making but it is your responsibility to discover, accept and live it.  Our theme scripture is not a mere sentence but a statement of fact; your present reality been born again. Galatians 3:27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. When you received Jesus as your Lord the Holy Spirit baptized you into Christ. The word 'baptized' is from the Greek word 'baptizo', which means to be dipped completely into liquid substance such that you are completely covered by that substance. (NIV) God's throne of grace is freely opened to us. Because we have Jesus as our High Priest we can approach God's throne of grace with confidence. Mercy and grace are available at the throne of grace. Mercy here is not in respect to sin; as in pardon of sins, but God's tenderness, kindness and softness directed towards us.  God's mercy is care, patience, carefulness and concerns towards us. His mercy means help we do not qualify for or even ask for. We are confident to approach God's throne of grace to receive mercy (help that we are not qualified for) because Jesus our High Priest offered Himself as a sacrificial offering for us procuring for us all that we would ever need. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (NIV) When this text of the scripture is read we don't really pay attention to the answer promised or provided. It says "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." And went on to promise the answer that would follow. It says "And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." That's interesting! Peace is an answer to prayer and petition. (NIV) Mount Zion means the Church of Jesus Christ. And deliverance -- salvation has come to the church a long time ago, and she is forever holy. And there is an inheritance for every member of the Church, the body of Christ.  Colossians 1:12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. (ESV) There is a legal inheritance for you. It's not about something that is real and tangible only in the spirit realm but also here on earth. Everything here on earth has a spiritual origin and lineage. (KJV) Daniel interpreted the mysterious writing on the wall for the king of Babylon. One of the things that enabled him to do so was an excellent spirit. He was described as one with an excellent spirit. An excellent is a keen mind. It's an ability to see and understand things of the spirit.  Every child of God is born with an excellent spirit; he has an inherent ability to see and understand the things of the spirit.
