BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 6th JULY 2026 PROCLAIM HIS PEACE John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. (NIV) In a world of turbulence and unrest you can be at peace within and then without. Peace has to be within first, if you don't have peace in your heart you can't have it in your life; everything that has to do with you would be unsettled; job, business, family, finance, etc. Interestingly Jesus said "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you." This simply means peace is in your possession. You have peace, Christ's peace. But if you don't proclaim it you cannot experience it. Learn to proclaim His peace. Consciously declare that you have peace. Take hold of peace, don't live in anxiety. Talk peace; confess peace; declare peace.  Also learn to enforce peace in your life, locality, city and nation. Every now and then...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 5th JULY 2026 PRESS ON Philippians 3:14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. (NIV) When you understand the call of God for your life you would discover there is a goal (a mark) to reach, a prize (reward) to win, and then the need to press on because there is something to lose.  Those who don't know or understand God's purpose for their life don't realise that there is something to lose. You only know what is at stake when you find yourself in God's purpose and calling.  When we talk about God's calling we don't mean called to be a Pastor or Prophet. It's simply a call to represent God in the earth; to think, talk and do as He would.  Hence there is a goal, a mark you must reach and a prize to win. And that requires a continuous pressing. You will have to press on and keep pressing on. Until we leave to heaven our work is not done. While we ar...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 4th JULY 2026 GIVE NO PLACE TO THE DEVIL Ephesians 4:26-27 "In your anger do not sin" : Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. (NIV) The Bible says do not give the devil a place even as small as a foothold. A foothold simply means footing, that is, a support for the foot when climbing. What the above scripture says in essence is "don't give the devil a place of support against you." And it used anger as an example. If you are angry, don't remain angry for long, stop at some point. If you don't you are creating a foothold; a place of advantage for the devil in your life. Give him no such place. Apart from anger, every deliberate wrong doing affords the devil a place of advantage against you. Don't give the devil a hand of support against you by willful wrong doings. One of those willful wrong doings is unforgiveness. Forgiveness is must, but you...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 2nd JULY 2026 YOUR TOMORROW IS IN YOUR VISION Genesis 13:14-15 The LORD said to Abram after Lot had parted from him, "Look around from where you are, to the north and south, to the east and west. ALL THE LAND THAT YOU SEE I will give to you and your offspring forever. (NIV) God spoke to Abraham many times about his great future, but was yet to live in the reality. One day God asked him to see the future He had been talking about. He said to him "Look around from where you are, to the north and south, to the east and west. ALL THE LAND THAT YOU SEE I will give to you and your offspring forever." Until He saw it he couldn't walk in it. His future was in his vision. He had to see it first. When he did, God told him. "Go, walk through the length and breadth of the land, for I am giving it to you." -- Genesis 13:17. You have to see your future through the word of God. Your tomorrow is in your vision. The fut...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 1st JULY 2026 ABRAHAM SAW THE WHOLE WORLD Genesis 13:14-15 The LORD said to Abram after Lot had parted from him, "Look around from where you are, to the north and south, to the east and west. ALL THE LAND THAT YOU SEE I will give to you and your offspring forever. (NIV) God cannot do for us more than we can see, so He seeks to improve our vision first. He helps us to see as we should.  God told Abraham that he would be great, with much possession and children yet for a time it didn't happen. God needed to help his vision, one day He said to him "Look around from where you are, to the north and south, to the east and west. ALL THE LAND THAT YOU SEE I will give to you..." God simply said to him "as far as you can see I will give to you." He saw the whole world and God gave it to him. Abraham had complained of being childless but the problem was his vision, he didn't see himself having children. All he...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 30th JUNE 2026 PRAISE GOD FOR VICTORY Psalms 124:6 Praise be to the LORD, who has not let us be torn by their teeth. (NIV) Looking back to this year and seeing all the victories we got, the opposition we won over we can only praise God. Running the course this year and coming to the end of the year is grace. Praise is what we should do.  It might look normal to get this far but it is not. If you could see what the enemy planned against you many times during this year and yet you are here celebrating, then you would sing praises to God. You aren't here because there were no plot to take your life, end your business, break your marriage but because the Lord was on your side.  Psalms 124:2-6 if the LORD had not been on our side when people attacked us, they would have swallowed us alive when their anger flared against us; the flood would have engulfed us, the torrent would have swept over us, the raging waters would have swep...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 29th JUNE 2026 DON'T GIVE UP DOING GOOD Galatians 6:9-10 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. (NIV) We are living in a world where doing good doesn't seems to pay. If we would judge by people's attitude towards our good deeds we would become weary. Some people do pay back evil for good. But that shouldn't stop us from doing good.  The Bible says that we would reap a harvest if we do not give up doing good. And that harvest can only come from God. The harvest of doing good comes from God. It's important we keep this in focus while doing good. The harvest will not come from those you were good to, nor will it come from any man but God.  If you look to man for harvest for the good deeds you did you would be highly disappoint...
