BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 25th JUNE 2026 HE WAS BORN FOR US Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (NIV) Jesus' birth, death and resurrection was for us. He was born of man so we could be born of God. He put on flesh so we could put on divinity. He became man so we could become god. It was all for us. The above verse says "...and the government will be on his shoulders." Shoulder is a part of the body not the head. Jesus is the head of His body the church. The government, rulership and authority is on the shoulder of the church. He came to put us in government, rulership and authority. We put us in charge.  Jesus didn't need victory over satan. He was in the highest heaven far above all things, and satan was on earth under His feet. His victory over satan was for us. 1 Corinthians 15:...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 24th JUNE 2026 GOD HAS MADE YOU Romans 4:17 As it is written: "I have made you a father of many nations." He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed —the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not. (NIV) God spoke these words in the above verse to Abraham at the time he had no child. He said to him "I have made you a father of many nations." Notice he didn't say "I will make you a father of many nations." God speaks 'fulfilled-word', anything He says to you is actually His reality. God knew His word concerning Abraham was already fulfilled though he was yet to walk in it physically. Like Abraham God has made you. Whatever you desire to be or achieve He has already made it possible. Like Abraham you have to find that spoken word and hold on to it not weakening in faith through unbelief but strong in faith giving glory to God.  You may look into th...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 23rd JUNE 2026 REJOICE IN THE LORD ALWAYS Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! (NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. That calls for spiritual insight.  It takes spiritual insight to see what we got in the Lord and rejoice. When you are ask to rejoice over something it means that it holds significance and value. No nobody would ask you to rejoice over something that's not to your advantage. We have everything to our advantage in Christ, and it is our responsibility to recognize them and rejoice.  Looking at your physical environment and, maybe the circumstances of your life you might have reasons to feel bad and dejected. But looking in the Lord and who you are in Him, you would find not only the glorious you but also answers to all your questions.  When ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 22nd JUNE 2026 FAITH IS A LAW Romans 3:27 Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. Because of what law? The law that requires works? No, because of the law that requires faith. (NIV) Faith is a requirement of the law of the Spirit. Faith is an attribute of the Holy Spirit, and as such an attribute of the recreated human spirit. Faith is a law.  Romans 8:2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. The law of Moses brought judgment and condemnation unto death, but the law of the Spirit brings life. Having been born again you have this law at work in you. You are under this law of faith; your legal function is by faith. Everything you do with faith is legal, and anything you do without faith is illegal. What then is faith? Faith is living in the reality the Word shows you; when the Word show you a reality live in it. This is the life of the righteous we are c...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 21st JUNE 2026 TELL OF ALL HIS WONDERFUL ACTS 1 Chronicles 16:8-9 Give praise to the LORD, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done. Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. (NIV) There are people who will spend time to tell you what they want God to do for them. But would hardly tell you what God has already done for them. When it comes to God some are only concerned about now and tomorrow, not remembering and testifying to the wonderful works God has been doing in their lives.  God loves praise! He would that you tell everyone who cares about His wonderful deeds in your life. There are people who like to hide the big happenings in their lives for reasons best known to them. But God doesn't like it when you hide what He did for you. He wants you to shout it aloud, even from the roof-top. The Word implore us in 1 Chronicles 16:8-9, Give praise to the LORD, proclaim his name; make ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 20th JUNE 2026 REFUSE TO BE ANXIOUS Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (NIV) Anxiety is a choice. You are worried not because you have a problem but because you chose to apply worry to your problem. When a problem surfaces the next thing would be your response. The problem does not condition you to be anxious. It doesn't control your response; your response is your own will. You can refuse to be anxious.  People worry about their problem not because of the magnitude of the problem but because they think they do not have a solution. If you know you have a solution you won't worry but simply apply the solution.  The Word of God counsels us, "Do not be anxious about anything," and then gave us ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 19th JUNE 2026 AN ATTITUDE OF THANKS 1 Thessalonians 5:18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. (NIV) There are thanks that God rejects. Thanking God with words or substance is not enough. An acceptable thanks requires a reverence attitude. Thanksgiving in words or with substance is worship. Our worship of God is more about our hearts than the elements used. Your words and substance; givings, presentations, gifts and offerings are elements of worship. And all of these could be a mere religious show if we don't apply the right attitude. We are required to give thanks in all circumstances. And this requires an attitude of faith and obedience. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Maybe something unpleasant just happened, and then this scripture comes into your mind. It would take an attitude of faith and obedience for you ...
