BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 22nd APRIL 2026 BEFORE PROMOTION Daniel 3:30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the province of Babylon. (NIV) There are some promotion that comes with a test. The test is not from God but He allows it. The test is not to qualify you for the promotion but to test how mature you are to occupy such a position.  The Bible says in Daniel 3:30 "Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the province of Babylon" Before their promotion was a great of their faith. Often the test that precedes promotion is a test of ones faith; it often has to do with ones faith in God.  Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego's faith in God was tested, and when they passed the test the king promoted them. The king of Babylon had set up a huge image and decreed that everyone should bow down and worship it or be thrown into a blazing fire. But Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego wouldn't.  Daniel 3:17-18 If we are thro...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 21st APRIL 2026 HE SUPPLIES Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (KJV) When faced with a pressing need we tend to look to everything else but God, yet the Bible says He supplies all our needs according to His riches in Glory by Christ Jesus. The mistake some often make is looking to channels as their source. When God use a channel to supply to you He does not expect you to set your confidence in that channel; at times God use a channel one-off. But some would stay with a channel that God has moved on from. Your job is important but recognize that it`s only a channel God uses. Your job will fail, your business will fail, friends-support will fail and every other channel will fail, only God the source will not fail. And He supplies continuously. To receive supply from God one has to first of all turn his attention away from channels. When your hope is fixed on a part...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 20th APRIL 2026 IT SHOULD BE OF VALUE TO YOU 2 Samuel 24:24 But the king replied to Araunah, "No, I insist on paying you for it. I will not sacrifice to the LORD my God burnt offerings that cost me nothing." So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen and paid fifty shekels of silver for them. (NIV) When it comes to giving there are those whose hands are tight-fisted even when it is giving in the house of God. They are never comfortable when it's time to give or talk of giving is mentioned. And when they are eventually persuaded to give they give what doesn't cost them anything. In the above verse, King David said "I will not sacrifice to the LORD my God burnt offerings that cost me nothing." To him if it cost nothing it doesn't have any value. If it will be of value it has to cost something. What you give to others and in the house of God should be of value to you.  There are those when they wa...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 18th APRIL 2026 HE IS EVERYWHERE Psalm 139:7 Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? (NIV) The presence of God is everywhere. Infact existence exist inside His presence. God is everywhere. We all live inside God. Heavens is His throne and the earth His footstool. His presence is everywhere and everything is in His presence. Nothing can exist outside God's presence. Hell is in God's presence; God's presence is in hell.  David by the Spirit spoke of God's presence. Psalm 139:8-12 If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths(HELL), you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. If I say, "Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me," even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 17th APRIL 2026 FOR IN HIM WE LIVE Acts 17:28 for In him we live and move and have our being; as even some of your own poets have said, For we are indeed his offspring. (ESV) If you live in the consciousness of this scripture you would live in an atmosphere of the supernatural continuously. When you were born again you were born in Christ into the presence of God. And you live there permanently.  We don't come and go from God's presence; we live there. Some people look at their physical outlook and environment and do not understand how they live in God's presence. It is your spirit that lives in God; and it only become the reality of your physical body and environment when you walk in the consciousness of it.  Look beyond your physical body. You actually live in Christ. You move in Him; you carry out your activities in Him. And have your being in Him; that is, your sustainance and continuity is in Him. Live beyond your ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 16th APRIL 2026 INCREASE IN GRACE AND PEACE 2 Peter 1:2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, (NIV) God has given everyone of us grace and peace in Christ. But how much of them we enjoy depends on our knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord. Knowledge here refers to intimate knowledge which comes through relationship. The level of grace and peace we enjoy is directly connected to our relationship and fellowship with God. The deeper your relationship with Him the greater your peace and grace.  If you find yourself wanting peace or grace what you need is not prayer but a meditation on the Word and how it relates with you. You can choose to increase the grace and peace of God in your life by increasing your knowledge of, relationship and fellowship with God. The scripture says grace and peace can be multiplied unto you through your knowledge of God and of Jesus Christ our Lord. Con...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 15th APRIL 2026 DON'T OBSERVE THE CONTRARIES Ecclesiastes 11:4 Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap. (NIV) When you set out your plans and goals to achieve success contraries would set in. There is always that opposition coming from somewhere. There is always that wind blowing against one's plan and direction; it's from the devil. Some wish that there were no oppositions on their path they would have done much by now. "Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap" - the Bible says. It's not about the wind, the clouds, the oppositions and the contraries. It's about your focus. Those things are destined to come but don't observe them. If not from anything else at least from your own experience you can tell that trouble, contraries and oppositions are part of the walk. It is how you deal with them that makes the ultima...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 14th APRIL 2026 HIS WILL NOT TROUBLE-FREE 1 Thessalonians 5:18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. (NIV) When you follow God's will as revealed in the scripture or heard His voice directly asking you to do something and heed to it, that doesn't mean you won't have trouble. You might wonder "I know very well this is God's will yet I am facing challenges." Challenges are not exempted from God's will. If He asks you to walk on a path it doesn't mean it's going to be a trouble-free walk.  In all the paths we walk in life and all the challenges on them He asks us to give thanks irrespectively. He didn't expect us not to face challenges but that we triumph over them. There is no path that God would ask you to walk that you wouldn't find trouble. What you do is give thanks to Him for what the trouble will produce and then triumph over it.  Read our...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 13th APRIL 2026 YOU ARE THE SEED OF ABRAHAM Galatians 3:16,29 The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. Scripture does not say "and to seeds," meaning many people, but "and to your seed," meaning one person, who is Christ. ...If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. (NIV) We are not Abraham's seeds but Abraham's seed. Abraham has one spiritual seed and that seed is Christ. If you are in Christ you are the seed of Abraham. All the blessings and promises God gave to Abraham are actually fulfilled in you. The promise of blessing God made to Abraham was of two sides; physical and spiritual.  Genesis 13:15 For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.  Abraham and his physical seed did enjoy the physical side of the blessing. But the spiritual side was reserved for the spiritual seed; those in Christ. The spirit...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 12th APRIL 2026 (It's Pastor Stanley's birthday today) THE WORD GUARANTEES YOUR PROSPERITY 3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. (KJV) When the subject of prosperity is brought up some Christians object it. They believe that prosperity shouldn't be given a priority in the church but salvation. But true salvation is prosperity. Their judgment and argument are not based on the scripture. Reading our theme scripture no one should argue that God want His children to prosper and be in health.  God's Word is the revelation of God's mind and intent. His Word says He wants you prosperous and in health, but not just that His Word also guarantees your prosperity. God's word concerning you is more than His wishes and desire but a dream and a reality He has enabled you to live. He wants you prosperous, in health even as your soul prospers. You...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 11th APRIL 2026 GATHER LITTLE GATHER MUCH Exodus 16:18 And when they measured it by the omer, the one who gathered much did not have too much, and the one who gathered little did not have too little. Everyone had gathered just as much as they needed. (NIV) Everyone is in pursuit of something. In your endeavor or pursuit learn to gather little and learn also to gather much. Learn to take advantage of seemingly little opportunities as well as the big ones. Success is a product of plan and preparation. No one succeed by chance. Plan big but don't despise little opportunities that might come your way, they might even be your stepping stone to bigger opportunities. If you gather little by little you won't have little, if you gather much you won't have too much.  In life be prepared for what might come. So it's important you diversify your plans and investments. If you have just one plan to succeed in this life and it fai...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 10th APRIL 2026 GRACE FOR REIGNING Romans 5:17 For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ! (NIV) When Adam transgressed the command of God death came into the world through him, and death reigned. Those who has received Jesus as their Lord received grace and rightousness to reign in life. Grace is for reigning! Grace and righteousness cannot be earned. They are free gifts of God. These two brought man out of condemnation and judgment. Judgement came to the first Adam through his transgression, and brought death which reigned until the law of Moses. -- 'Romans 5:14 Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who is a pattern of the one to come.' BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 9th APRIL 2026 LEVERAGE ON GRACE 2 Timothy 2:1 So, my child, draw your strength from the grace that is in Christ Jesus. (CEB) If there is a trading platform where you could invest a minimum of $1,000 and get $10,000 in return in a short period of time and you like to invest but have just $100. If the trading platform offers you the $900 to make it up then you struck the deal and got your own dividend from the returns. What actually happened is that you leverage on the platform. You can leverage on grace in like manner.  You will always have things you are required or supposed to do in life that you won't be sufficient for. You want to start up a business but no enough capital, you want to go to school but no enough money, you want to start an organization no enough information. Leverage on grace! In the many things you fall short leverage on grace.  You tried to do all the right things you could, you want to be rightousnes...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 8th APRIL 2026 HE GAVE LIFE NOT RULES 1 John 5:11-12 And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. (NIV) A lot of Christians struggle to live the Christian Life because they see God's word as rules to be obeyed. The word of God is not a rule but a statement of the reality of who you are. God's word says walk in righteousness because you are His rightousness. He wouldn't tell you to do something that is not in you already. The Word only ask you to express yourself. Our theme scripture says "God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life." Do you have the Son? Do you believe in Jesus? If yes, then you have eternal life. What are you supposed to do? Live it; live eternal life. Live beyond the human life. Don't look for rules in the Bible to g...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 7th APRIL 2026 VALID FOR ALL TIME 1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (NIV) Our victory in Christ is valid for all time; it doesn't elapse with time. It is as long as the giver lives. The Bible says "But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." 'He gives us' it is a continuous tense. He continually gives us the victory. Does He fight everyday to give us victory? No! It is through His word. Through His word we continually experience victory every day. And it's valid for all time. When people are hemmed in and don't know what to do. They wish they could find a way out of their trouble but they have a valid victory over it, they don't know. All they require was to put the word to work and produce victory by it. In Christ everyone has victory and it is valid for all time and over all things.  It is not the mag...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 6th APRIL 2026 BORN FOR A TIME LIKE THIS Philippians 2:15 so that you may become blameless and pure, "children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation." Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky (NIV) There are people who say that the past ages were better than today. They believe the era of their forefathers were better than today. They complain about the moral decadence in the world today, and all the wickedness of men. But they forget that they were born for a time like this. God knew you were coming. He knew that this is the world you would live in. Philippians 2:15 says "so that you may become blameless and pure, "children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation." Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky" God knows that you are living in a warped and crooked generation, and He expects you to be without fault and to shine among them like stars ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 5th APRIL 2026 SOMETHING MUCH MORE Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, (NIV) The Kingdom of God referred here is not the one in heaven. This refers to the church here on earth. The Word says we are not here on earth to eat and drink but for righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.  We are here on earth to walk in and share the righteousness, peace and joy of the Holy Spirit. When we got born again we received God's rightousness, peace and joy. We are expected to walk in these and experience them continually. And the other aspect of it, is to share the righteousness, peace and joy of the Holy Spirit with others. When we share the Gospel of Jesus with people and they believe they receive God's rightousness, peace and joy. They in turn grow in it, walk in it and share it. That's what life is truly about.  The jailer who ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 4th APRIL 2026 DON'T LET LIFE CHOOSE FOR YOU Romans 10:8 But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: (NIV) You would hear someone say "this is where I found myself in life. Life has not been fair to me, this is what life gave me." These are people whom life has thrown up and down and eventually dump them somewhere they never thought of or wanted to be. Life chose for them.  Life was created for you not you for life, don't let life control you and dictate the outcome of your existence. Life was given you to live; you are to live life and dictate the outcome of your existence and circumstances, not life choosing for you where to go, what to do and what to have.  The Bible tells us how to live life and be on top of life always, it is through the Word of God in our mouth and heart. Romans 10:8 But what does it sa...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 3rd APRIL 2026 REJOICE AND CELEBRATE Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. (NIV) In the Kingdom of God the things you do not rejoice about you may not enjoy to the fullest. In Christ we have so much to rejoice about. And it is our responsibility to recognize them and celebrate. One of the ways to enjoy the blessings of the Gospel is to rejoice and celebrate when you find out about them in the scriptures. Apostle Paul had to remind the church at Philippi to rejoice and celebrate in the Lord. He didn't ask them to rejoice in themselves or the circumstances that might have surrounded them. Their rejoicing was to be directed to what they have in the Lord. We are encouraged to do the same today.  You are responsible to find out in the scriptures what the Lord has done and made available for you in the Gospel. And when you find out about them the first thing is to rejoice. When you rejoice and celebra...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 2nd APRIL 2026 THE SOUND OF A HEAVY RAIN 1 Kings 18:41 And Elijah said to Ahab, "Go, eat and drink, for there is the sound of a heavy rain." (NIV) Whenever God want to bless someone or do something big in a person's life He sends His word to that person, when he receives that word and act upon it he is positioned to have it happen for him.  It hadn't rained in the land of Israel for some years. God was about to change that. His word came to Ahab the King of Israel "Go, eat and drink, for there is the sound of a heavy rain." God may not do for you what you do not expect or desire. His word had to come to Ahab and the people of Israel to create in them an expectation for rain. They became used to drought; they might have as well forgotten about rain.  Some people have gotten so used to suffering and the downside life. They are used to drought, penury, lack and want. Some have gotten to a point where they n...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 1st APRIL 2026 GO AND CELEBRATE Nehemiah 8:10 Nehemiah said, "Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength." (NIV) Celebration is of God. After some of the Israelites who had gone into captivity returned to Jerusalem and carried out the work of rebuilding the city Ezra assembled the people and read the law of Moses to them. When they heard it they were all filled with joy. Nehemiah one of the leaders responded and said to the people "Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength." In other words, he said to them 'go and celebrate.'  Having found the law (God's word) which is their blessing they ought to celebrate. When you find God's ...
