(NIV) When we study the Word of God He does not only produce faith in us but also hope. Only the Word gives genuine hope because it has basis. The Word is truth, what He tells us is true. This truth is the foundation or basis of our hope. And such hope does not put us to shame. You may have hoped and waited for God's word concerning a particular issue in your life to come to pass but nothing has happened yet. Don't lose hope. You might have thoughts that the Word has failed and there is no need hoping. Those thoughts are wrong and aimed to destroy your hope. Listen! Hope built on God's Word does not fail. (KJV) The Bible recognize the day of adversity. It is a day when everything go adversely; that means, things going contrary to what you plan or want. And then you have a responsibility to turn them back into what you want. It is a time of fight, a fight of faith, not a time to give up. The Bible says if you faint (give up) in the day of adversity your strength is small. How are you going to increase your strength? Certainly this is not human strength. For by human strength shall no one prevail. Spiritual strength is required for victory and success. And only the Holy Spirit gives such strength. So in the day of adversity you draw strength from Him. And the way to do so is through meditation on the Word and prayer. He took our place of sin, judgment and death so we could take His place of righteousness, justification and life. His grace means more than just favour, it is His place with the Father given us. Even when a fellow man helps you it is only an extension of God's help. So it's no use setting your focus on man to help you, if the Lord does not help you no man however great or rich can. (KJV) There is such a thing as the spirit of fear. It precedes every disaster or calamity that comes to a man. Before any negative thing takes place in the life of a person he is first attacked with fear. It takes fear to die. Anyone who rejects fear rejects death.  When a Doctor diagnose a person with an incurable disease and tell the person you are going to die in three months from now. A lot of times such a person dies before the end of that three months. What actually kill the fellow is not the disease but fear of death. If the Doctor hadn't said anything to him he probably would have lived many years more. Fear kills! If you had school exams to write devil would attack you with fear of failing. Kings and people of other nations attacked them many times. One of such was king Balak of Moab. He prepared to attack Israel but fear of them gripped him for they were numerous and strong. Coming out of hell He brought out the saints who had died (Abraham, Moses, David and others) and had been captives in hell. He came out with them. (NIV) An Angel speaking to Zechariah about the birth of John the Baptist and his ministry said many things and one of them was "the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous." His ministry would turn the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous. The wisdom of the righteous is a mindset of the righteous that pre-dictated their thoughts, words and actions. The mindset of the righteous is a mind which know, understand and live in the will of God. It is a mind dominated by the word (will) of God. The disobedient are the unbelievers. (NIV) After the transgression of Adam God drove him away from His presence. Humanity was literally driven away from God's presence in the spirit realm. Man was driven from God's presence (His glory). But in Christ those who are born again are freely justified, revived and restored back into God's presence. Romans 3:23-24 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. It even take faith to use money wisely. An active faith is the only answer to life's unending challenges. And an active faith speaks.  When you find yourself in the middle of an unpleasant circumstance what you need to do is speak forth God's word.
