BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 7th AUGUST 2026 ALWAYS AVAILABLE AND RELIABLE Hebrews 13:5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." (NIV) No Christian would argue that God is always available and reliable. But in the face of challenges some wonder 'where is God?' Unpleasant circumstances may tell you that God has abandon you, you may not feel He is around. But God's availability is not judged by circumstances or feeling. You don't have to feel He is around. His word already tells you He is. God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." This is the guarantee that He is available and reliable. He didn't say 'when you feel good or when circumstances are good that means I am around.' He says "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." That's a statement of commitment a...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 6th AUGUST 2026 FAITH SPEAKS 2 Corinthians 4:13 It is written: "I believed; therefore I have spoken." Since we have that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore speak, (NIV) Believing the word of God without speaking will not produce the result of what it talks about in our life. To believe is to agree. But agreeing to what God says is not enough to enjoy the blessings thereof. When you believe what God says it becomes your state in the spirit but for you to experience it here on earth you got to speak it forth. Whatever God says about you is His reality concerning you. Your believing means you agree to it but you only get involved and participate in that reality by speaking in consonant with Him. You have to participate in God's word concerning you because it involves you. You do that by confessing the word. The Gospel we have received is called the great confession because it's a life of confession. ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 5th AUGUST 2026 BEYOND THE NEED; THE WALK Genesis 12:4,7 So Abram went, as the LORD had told him; and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he set out from Harran. The LORD appeared to Abram and said, "To your offspring I will give this land." So he built an altar there to the LORD, who had appeared to him. (NIV) In your relationship with God He looks beyond your need to your walk with Him. Abraham was seventy-five years old when God promised him a son by Sarah but at ninety-nine years he still had no son by Sarah. But he didn't stop serving God, he didn't allow that to deteriorate his walk with God. Genesis 17:1 When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to him and said, "I am God Almighty; walk before me faithfully and be blameless. God prioritise your walk with Him over your needs. He treasure your relationship with Him above all else. His promise of a son to Abraham came to...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 4th AUGUST 2026 NO SAFER PLACE Acts 17:28 ’For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ’We are his offspring.’ (NIV) Everyone in the world wants a place of safety and security. When there is turmoil and unrest in a place those living there seeks to relocate to a safer place. But very few ever thought of relocating to Christ. Christ is a place as much as your city is a place. It is a tangible place in the spirit where you can live and experience its atmosphere in this physical world.  Our theme scripture says "For in him we live and move and have our being." Who does it refer to? Christ. Christ is not only the Son of God, the Anointed, the Sent One but also a place. A place with its own atmosphere. It was the place the Israelites lived when they came out of Egypt carrying their own atmosphere. A pillar of cloud followed them by day to keep heat away from them, and a pillar of fire ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS Daily devotional Pastor Stanley 3rd AUGUST 2026 WHATEVER YOU ASK John 16:23 In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you WHATEVER YOU ASK IN MY NAME. (NIV) It doesn't cost God anything to give you anything you ask because Jesus' death is the true cost of everything He's given you. By His death He paid for your sins and by His resurrection He brought you into salvation and every good thing there is. When the Lord Jesus said "the Father will give you whatever you ask in my Name" it was based on a legal ground, God had to, because Jesus earned everything good for us. When we pray in His Name, we ask in His stead. It is as though Jesus were asking the Father by Himself, we ask on His merit not ours. And as such the Father cannot say no. The Lord Jesus declares that WHATEVER you ask the Father in my Name He will give you. That's a blank cheque. The ball is in your court. Ask Him whatever you wan...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS Daily devotional Pastor Stanley 2nd AUGUST 2026 CONTINUE IN IT James 1:25 But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and CONTINUES IN IT —not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it —they will be blessed in what they do. (NIV) The perfect law that gives freedom is the law of the Spirit of life - Romans 8:2. The law of the Spirit of life sets you free from the law of sin and death. Having received the life of Christ the Spirit of God brought you into the liberty of God's sons. That means you are free to be who you are in Christ.  As you look into the perfect law, it shows you who you are in Christ, and the Bible says as it shows you continue in it. James 1:25 But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and CONTINUES IN IT —not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it —they will be blessed in what they do. It's not enough to just read about the truth of the Gospel, you have to continue in it. Meditat...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS Daily devotional Pastor Stanley 1st AUGUST 2026 SEND OUT YOUR ANGELS Hebrews 1:14 Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation? (NIV) Every child of God has Angels at his disposal to serve him. But how do they serve us? Not by talking to us or giving us advice or instruction. But by carrying out instructions from our words. They serve us, do things for us by our words. Whenever we speak in line with the truth of the Gospel of Christ Angels receive instructions from our words.  Angels obey our words but not every of our word. They only obey us in the light and provision of the Gospel. Whenever we speak contrary to the Gospel they do nothing, for they understand perfectly the Gospel of Christ. There are those whose Angels are not active because they only become active for us by our words.  You have Angels at your disposal, send them out. You don't have to call them and say go or come. They know what to do when you spe...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 31st JULY 2026 GROW IN GRACE 2 Peter 3:18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen. (NIV) How do you grow in grace? How do you grow in knowledge? You grow in knowledge of God by studying the word of God. You grow in grace by finding out in the word what God has done for you in Christ. Growing in grace is related to growing in knowledge of the Lord Jesus and what He's done for you. Everyone who received Christ has received grace but how much grace you enjoy in your life is dependent on how much you grow in knowledge. Everyone do not experience the same level of grace because only the grace you know work for you. God expects you to grow in Grace. And you have to in order to maximize your potentials in Christ. Only the word of God can grow you. Give yourself to it. You can determine how much grace you want to function in by studying and growing in the word....

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 30th JULY 2026 PRAYING PROPHECY 1 Timothy 1:18 Timothy, my son, I am giving you this command in keeping with the prophecies once made about you, so that by recalling them you may fight the battle well, (NIV) Apostle Paul asked Timothy to recall the prophecies once made about him that through them he could fight the battle well. The 'recalling' here is not a mere remembering but praying them to reality. He had to pray the prophecies into reality. A lot of times when people receive prophecy they just sit and wait hoping for it to come true. But some prophecies don't come true that way. You have to pray them to reality. One of the things prophecy gives is direction. That means, some prophecies direct you to pray in a certain way. It would be unfruitful waiting for them to be fulfilled on their own.  Apostle Paul told Timothy that by praying the prophecies concerning him he could fight the battle well. Some prophecies are t...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 29th JULY 2026 CONTINUE IN HIS GRACE Ephesians 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God — not by works, so that no one can boast. (NIV) You were saved by grace through your faith in Jesus Christ. The life of God you received you got through faith in Jesus. You can only continue through faith.  Human being likes efforts, works and achievement. They want their efforts to be counted for them. They like to earn things. But God doesn't have blessings that man can earn. His salvation for man is an act of love, which brought us grace by which we were saved. Salvation is all of God, grace is all of God. It is by grace that you have been saved through faith and not your works. So continue in His grace. One of the reasons some Christians are unable to work in the blessings of God is that they want to do something to earn it, no. A life of grace is finding out what...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 28th JULY 2026 IT DEPENDS ON YOUR WORDS Matthew 12:37 For by your words you will be justified and acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned and sentenced. (AMP) Few people would agree that the present state of their lives resulted from their words, but it's true all the same. One might argue and say "my present condition is not what I wanted, I didn't get what I wanted." The Bible didn't say "by what you want or desire you will be justified", rather by your words.  Some erroneously think that just because they wanted or desired something it would come through for them. It doesn't work that way. Wishes and desire is not enough. It's your words that brings to pass. Interestingly it is easier for negative words to come to pass than positive. And that because the default setting of the ordinary world is evil and negative. You don't have to be deliberate with negative words to have it...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 27th JULY 2026 FOR HIS GOOD PURPOSE Philippians 2:13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. (NIV) God actively works in and through us by His Spirit. And He does for His good purpose. He works in, through and for us because He loves us. But another reason is because of His purpose. He doesn't want His purpose thwarted in our lives. Beyond His love for us is His purpose. Beyond our dreams and desires is His purpose.  At times the things that happen for us is not because we prayed or go to church but because of His purpose. He leads us in the paths of righteousness for His Name sake (His purpose). When we understand this and function in the light of it, we have more rest. Unnecessary burden is lifted from us because we know our life is not our idea.  Philippians 2:13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. Your life is beyond you...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 26th JULY 2026 IF IT SEEMS SLOW Habakkuk 2:3 For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. IF IT SEEMS SLOW, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay. (NIV) God wants for us the good things we seek. He is not against good. It is first His dream for us to be prosperous, victorious and successful before it became our dream and pursuit. There are things He appoints a time to have them happen for us. Until it is that time they might not manifest and then we interpret them as being slow.  It only seems slow to you not to God. He has a time for it. You might say "can't He just tell me the time appointed for it?" If He does you won't walk in faith. He doesn't have to tell you that you will get married next year when you are praying to get married this year, though He does at times.  You can tell from your experiences that there were things you wanted to have happen ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 25th JULY 2026 PRE-ORDAINED PATHS Ephesians 2:10 For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [TAKING PATHS WHICH HE PREPARED AHEAD OF TIME], THAT WE SHOULD WALK IN THEM [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]. (AMP) This above scripture clearly says that God has preordained paths for us to walk in. We don't just walk or live, we live in preordained paths. To preordain or predestine means to plan ahead of time, that is before one was born. God prepared our lives; how we should live through this world and what we should be about before we came. We came into this world because of His preordained purpose. We fullfill His preordained purpose by walking in His preordained paths. What is preordained paths? First it's worth noting, that the paths is in plural not sing...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley  24th JULY 2026 ASK ACCORDING TO HIS WILL 1 John 5:14-15 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us —whatever we ask —we know that we have what we asked of him. (NIV) Asking according to His will simply means asking according to His word in His Name. When you ask God for anything according to the provision of the Gospel it is His will, and He answers. Jesus said '...whatever you ask in my name' John 16:23 In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. This is what it is to ask according to His will: asking in the Name of Jesus according to the truth of the Gospel. For example it is a Gospel truth that Jesus took away our diseases and infirmities - Matthew 8:17. It is a Gospel truth that He brought us into His riches - 2 Corinthians 8:9. If I were si...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 23rd JULY 2026 MORE THAN VICTORIOUS Romans 8:37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. (NIV) We are more than conquerors; more than victorious because we resulted from Jesus' victory. We are the fruit of His victory; His trophy of victory.  We resulted from the victory of Christ over sin, death, the flesh and the world. We are more than just victors; we are the trophy of the Victor, Christ. Jesus won for us but more than that we are His reward.  Live conscious of your victory in Christ. You are more than victorious. In Christ you already overcome the world and everything in it. When the devil and contrary situations rises against you rise above them. Don't cower under opposition, don't hide. Put the word in your mouth and get talking; proclaim your victory in Christ. Remind the devil and the troubles that surrounds you of your victory in Christ. Praise God! You are victorious in Christ, but if you don...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 22nd JULY 2026 STRAINING TOWARD WHAT IS AHEAD Philippians 3:13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, (NIV) There is always something ahead for anyone who has a vision. Where you are is not a destination. Apostle Paul referring to going to heaven as his destination said "I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead," There was so much behind him, what he had accomplished with the Gospel, but there was also so much ahead of him what he could do with the Gospel and going to heaven. He had to choose where to focus, and he chose to focus on what lies ahead. So much is behind you, the very good moments, and the not very good moments. Focusing on either of these which are in the past would make you complacent. It becloud...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 21st JULY 2026 HE BRINGS TO COMPLETION Philippians 1:6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. (NIV) God doesn't leave His work halfway. He doesn't abandon His work. His plan for your life is to complete all the good works He has started. If you find some things inconsistent with His will it's not that He failed, no! It only means that man failed in lining up with His will. If you face challenges in the things you are doing for the Kingdom don't be perturbed, God is committed to it. He began it to finish it, He will not leave you midway. He keeps to His word concerning you and the good works you are doing. Your role is in His word too. Trust the word and live in the light of it. His word is His assurance. God sustains His work in our life. He created you for good works, and as He carries that work through you He carries it on to comp...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 20th JULY 2026 GO WITH THE GOSPEL Matthew 28:18-19 Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, (NIV) The Lord Jesus said "therefore go and make disciples of all nations..." All nations referred here means different group of people; as in bankers, lawyers, school mates, market colleagues etc. It simply refers to any setting we have numbers of people coming together regularly. He says go with the Gospel to any of the group you find yourself. You don't say "I am a banker I don't have time to go out for evangelism." No, the bank is your mission field. The group of people (your co-workers and costumers) are your nation. You don't have to cross border to reach a nation with the Gospel. The group setting you find yourself is th...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 19th JULY 2026 BE HUMBLE Ecclesiastes 9:11 I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all. (NIV) Our effort is not solely responsible for our success. Everyone want their effort to be applauded. We want to feel the satisfaction of having earned something. But the truth is, no effort equate what we have. It is not by strength that one succeeds. There is time in the spirit, and there is a set time for a certain glory and manifestation in the life of everyone. Until it is a man's time for a certain thing he won't get it even if he tried or if he tried so hard and get it, it leads to his destruction. We all don't operate by the same time and season, it's one man's time to own a house, but not yet for another. That's why you must not judge y...
