BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 11th MARCH 2026 RIGHTEOUSNESS REVEALED IN THE GOSPEL Romans 1:17 For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed —a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith." (NIV) The reason for sin, moral deficiency, failure and oppression of the devil is the absence or ignorance of righteousness. God's righteousness is the answer for riches, blessings, power, dominion and light. Righteousness makes you everything God wants you. And it is revealed and received through the Gospel.  The various governments and institutions in the world set up laws to have people do the right things and make their society secure and safe to live in. Yet all their laws and regulations, and the severe punishments for offenders could not make people do what is right. The only thing that makes a man do right is God's nature of righteousness. And it is a gift revealed in the Gosp...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 10th MARCH 2026 DO NOT BE AFRAID Revelation 1:17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: "Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. (NIV) In life we face things that at times make us afraid, even things intended for our good like John the revelator who saw Jesus and became afraid. Yes, he was full of awe of Jesus but He was also full of fear. Fear has a connection with lack of precise knowledge. Jesus said to him "Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last."  And He says the same to you today, "Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last." Fear paralyzes; it keeps one at a place, unmotivated and unwilling. Fear keeps one away from God's best. So much is lost to fear. But knowledge of the truth produces faith, and faith conquers fear.  Jesus said "I am the First and the Last, don't be afraid." You are in between Him. He is b...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 9th MARCH 2026 LOVE IS AN ANSWER Proverbs 10:12 Hatred stirs up conflict, but love covers over all wrongs. (NIV) There is actually only one reason for the conflict and fight in the world; absence of love. Hatred breeds conflict. If you had a conflict or disagreement with someone it would flair up in a moment if you nurture hatred or resentment towards the fellow. Hatred accelerate conflict but love covers over all wrongs. Love is an answer.  Love is the answer to the fight and feud in the world. If someone did something that offends you don't harbour hatred or plan on revenge, that's not the answer, respond in love. Don't create space in your heart to keep the wrongs done to you it harms you than it does the opposite fellow. Forgive and let your love cover over it. Love covers over all wrongs. If you find it difficult to let go of the wrongs done to you that means you have got to grow your love some more. Your heart of ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 8th MARCH 2026 GOD SPECIALIZES IN BLESSING Isaiah 51:2 look to Abraham, your father, and to Sarah, who gave you birth. When I called him he was only one man, and I blessed him and made him many. (NIV) Blessing is synonymous with God. He loves to bless. He is more willing to bless us than we are willing to be blessed. Blessing is God's idea. When you read through the scriptures you would find that all the people who walked with God faithtully were so blessed of God. In fact in Bible days blessing was a mark of those who served God, and the same is true today. Listen to God's words in our theme verse again, Isaiah 51:2 look to Abraham, your father, and to Sarah, who gave you birth. When I called him he was only one man, and I blessed him and made him many. Oh there is so much to this! First, He is saying look at Abraham and Sarah examples of the blessed. When I called him he was only one man, and I blessed him and made him ma...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 7th MARCH 2026 EXOUSIA AND DUNAMIS Mark 16:17-18 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” (NIV) The Lord Jesus said in His Name we can drive out demons; speak in new tongues; pick up snakes with our hands; and when we drink deadly poison it will not hurt us at all; we will place our hands on sick people, and they will get well. But how is this possible? Through His authority and power. The authority and power He gave us is actually Exousia and Dunamis in Greek word respectively. Exousia means lawful authority to occupy a position of superiority. While Dunamis is a divine and dynamic ability or power to cause changes. Exousia is being lawful to do something, while Dunamis is an ab...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 6th MARCH 2026 YOUR FAITH IS YOUR VICTORY 1 John 5:4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. (NIV) This verse above implies that for you to enjoy your victory in Christ requires your faith. Although everyone who is born of God overcomes the world living perpetually in that victory has to do with personal faith. Everyone who is born of God has equal victory over the world, satan and his evil works. But it's obvious that not every Christian is enjoying or experiencing this victory. And that because the level of victory you enjoy or experience is dependent on your personal faith. When you got born again you were born with faith. But that faith is a seed, and it cannot do everything you would have to do in this world, it won't be enough to win over every contention. You have a responsibility to grow your faith by continuously and consistently feeding on the ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 5th MARCH 2026 LIVE ABOVE IT Galatians 5:24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. (NIV) The flesh has its passions and desires. Those ruled by the flesh are eventually ruined by the flesh. Don't let the flesh control you. The flesh refers to your outward self or human body without the Holy Spirit. You have an inward self and outward self. Even though you are born again and the Holy Spirit dwells in your inward self, if your outward self is not subdued to your inward self it would control you. The flesh (your outward self) always seeks to dominate you. If allowed it would rule over you even though you are born again and when it does rule it ruins.  Those who belong to Christ (those born again) have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If you don't know and walk in the consciousness of this as your reality the passions and desires of the flesh would still be exp...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 4th MARCH 2026 PRAYER IS A SOLUTION James 5:13 Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. (NIV) When some people find themselves in a precarious situation and in search of solution, and you say let us pray about it. They look at you and say 'I am talking about a serious problem that needs a serious solution and you are saying let us pray.' That's how some people reason. But prayer is a solution; a powerful and quick one.  The Bible says "Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray." This is God's solution to problem. He didn't say 'Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them cry, beg, run around or look for money.' Prayer is God's remedy for you in time of trouble. If you find yourself in a problem prayer is what you should employ. To some people prayer is for those who has no option or for the weak. They think you pray because you don'...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 3rd MARCH 2026 INCUBATE Genesis 1:2 The earth was without form and an empty waste, and darkness was upon the face of the very great deep. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters. (AMP) The condition of the earth before the Spirit of God brood over it was pathetic. The one word to describe it is 'chaos.' The Bible says "the earth was without form, empty and darkness was over it." It couldn't be worst than that. God's answer to it was His Spirit. His Spirit hovered, brood over the face of the water. What the Spirit actually did was to incubate over the water; that means to hatch or develop. By incubating He created a condition conducive to bring forth light and orderliness.  When a situation becomes chaotic; empty and without form, incubate. When you look and see only contraries incubate. Incubate; hatch or develop a spiritual atmosphere conducive to bring forth what you...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 2nd MARCH 2026 ROOM TO FLOURISH Genesis 26:22 He moved on from there and dug another well, and no one quarreled over it. He named it Rehoboth, saying, "Now the LORD has given us room and we will flourish in the land." (NIV) Isaac dug a well but his neighbouring enemies quarreled over it. He left it for them, moved on and dig another one. But they disputed with him over it also. Again he left it for them, moved on and dug another. This time no one quarreled over it, so he named it Rehoboth, saying, "Now the LORD has given us room and we will flourish in the land." The requirement for flourishing is a room given by God. It comes with rest, and victory over the enemies. Until God gives one rest and room to flourish struggles and contentions continues. A 'room' in our text scripture actually denotes a large and spacious place. And it means freedom and victory over enemies and every contrary. This is what you...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 1st MARCH 2026 BLESSED BEYOND WORDS 2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. (NIV) Being a Christian you are blessed beyond words. God has blessed you abundantly such that in all things at all times you have all that you need, and abound in every good work. Think about that!  We cannot sufficiently explain in words how much God has blessed us. Even our experience of the blessings cannot even explain it all. I am sure when we get to heaven we would be able to see a great deal of our blessings. Imagine a life where you have everything you need every time not depending on anyone or anything! That's how much God has blessed you.  Let's read our theme scripture again, this time in Amplified translation: 2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance,...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 28th FEBRUARY 2026 UNLESS THE LORD BUILDS Psalms 127:1 Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain. (NIV) Do you ever wonder why people fail so miserably in life in spite of all their efforts? Some believe education is the key to success in life; the more educated you are the more successful you would be. But life has taught us over and over again that education doesn't guarantee success.  Men fail in life because they refuse to give God His due place and role in their lives. Life belongs to God; existence belongs to God, everything belongs to God. Your life did not begin the day you were born of your mother; God saw you before this world began. He has a plan for you. You cannot have a plan for yourself outside His plan. That would be rebellion against Him who made you for His glory. Unless God run your life you would ruin your life. Our the...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 27th FEBRUARY 2026 OURS IS THE KINGDOM, POWER AND GLORY Matthew 6:13 ...For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. (NIV) This verse refers to God the Father but He has given them all (the Kingdom, power and glory) to us being His heirs. -- Romans 8:17. So ours is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory forever. Amen. This might be too big for the natural mind, but it's true anyway. That's the reason Jesus came, and through the Holy Spirit He has freely given us the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory. Luke 22:29 And I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Father conferred one on me, A Kingdom is conferred on you. You have a Kingdom in the Kingdom of God, and He has made you a king. Every functioning kingdom has a jurisdiction of power. And God has given us His incomparably great power, the same He used to raise the Lord Jesus from the dead.  Ephesians 1:19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 26th FEBRUARY 2026 THE MESSAGE OF THE CROSS 1 Corinthians 1:18,23-24 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. (NIV) The message of the cross is Christ crucified. This is a stumbling block to the Jews (the religious) and foolishness to the Gentiles (the learned). But it is the power of God unto salvation for all who believe. The message of the cross of Christ makes of no value the religion that the Jews relied. Because it says Christ has been crucified, all who believe are made righteous you don't need the law to be righteous; the Jews says no, that's a stumbling block to our law.  On the other hand the Gentiles; the non-Jews, most of whom are learned peo...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 25th FEBRUARY 2026 INSTRUCTION IS YOUR LIFE Proverbs 4:13 Hold on to instruction, do not let it go; guard it well, for it is your life. (NIV) Do you know that a lot of God's people do not hold on to instruction? God's wisdom gives you instruction, when you receive it hold on to it. The Bible says "...do not let it go; guard it well, for it is your life." If you hold on to the formula that wisdom gives you; guard and apply it in your life it will produce what it says. Proverbs 4:13 Hold on to instruction, ...for it is your life." What does this mean, it is your life? It is your blessings, benefits and pleasures. When you apply wisdom's instruction it brings blessings into your life. Your life's glory and honour is tied to your acting on wisdom's formula. If your life would continue to be upward and forward it would depend on your obedience to wisdom's instruction.  CONFESSION Wisdom's instr...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 24th FEBRUARY 2026 CHOOSE INSTRUCTION Proverbs 8:1,10 Does not wisdom call out? Does not understanding raise her voice? Choose my instruction instead of silver, knowledge rather than choice gold, (NIV) When you give yourself to study and meditate on God's Word and stay in it long enough it would inspire you and put a word into your spirit, when that happens speak forth those words. Choose the word; the instruction you have received.  Wisdom often calls out to you when you pray in tongues or meditate on the Word. He calls you from within. If you listen He would give you instruction. You see, a lot of people pray but they do not listen. You have to listen; prayer is a dialogue. When you meditate listen from within; meditation is also a dialogue. When wisdom calls you He gives you instruction; a formula to live life. Heed to it. Therein is your life. Wisdom says "Choose my instruction instead of silver, knowledge rather than ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 23rd FEBRUARY 2026 WISDOM'S INSTRUCTION Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint; but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom’s instruction. (NIV) Where there is no revelation people go wild; unrestrained and uncontrolled, which eventually leads them to doom. But blessed is the one who heeds to wisdom's instruction. Wisdom's instruction is revelation and vision to live by. Instruction is a message showing how something is to be done. Another way to render it is -- instruction is a formula showing you how something is to be done. Wisdom gives you formula on how to live life. Think about it! Imagine you have a success-guaranteed formula for business, marriage, prosperity, victory. But that's exactly what God's Wisdom gives you. Think about it!  Through the Word of God, which is the Wisdom of God you have a proven formula to be a success in life and in all your endeavors. It is by this the...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 22nd FEBRUARY 2026 THE SPIRIT OF SUCCESS John 16:13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. (NIV) Success with God requires the Holy Spirit. He is the Spirit of success. To successfully live the life that God has given you requires the help of His Spirit. That's the reason He sent Him to live in you and to be with you. He has a ministry in your life to guide you into all the truth; truth in righteousness, kindness, marriage, business, circumstances, prosperity, continuous progress etc.  You succeed in life only when the Holy Spirit succeed in His Ministry in your life. And that happens when you diligently yield to Him, follow Him and live by His Word. Yes the Holy Spirit needs to succeed with His Ministry in your life. And that success depends solely on you. His success in your life is...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 21st FEBRUARY 2026 FIND PLEASURE IN WHAT YOU DO Ecclesiastes 3:22 So I saw that there is nothing better for a person than to enjoy their work, because that is their lot. For who can bring them to see what will happen after them? (NIV) The above scripture tells us that there is nothing better for a person than to enjoy their work. God expects you to enjoy your work; to find pleasure and fulfilment in it. God did not intend life for suffering. Suffering is man-made (intentionally or unintentionally). God did not design work to be man's source. Ephesians 4:28 Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, THAT THEY MAY HAVE SOMETHING TO SHARE WITH THOSE IN NEED. God intends that we work to meet the needs of others. It is in meeting the needs of others that our own needs are met. Our needs are met through the resulted blessings of helping others. There is a level of bl...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 20th FEBRUARY 2026 MAYBE IT'S NOT TIME YET Ecclesiastes 3:1 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: (NIV) There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens, the Bible says. This means, there is a set time for specific things in one's life and a season for certain activities. So when an activity occurs in your life it is not just because you wanted it but that it is its season. That also means when you want something to happen in your life and it doesn't, it means it is not yet its time or season.  Often when we want something we think 'now' is the right time but 'now' may not be the right time or season. Desire cannot overrule time and season, and it shouldn't be allowed. If things happen before their time they won't be matured, not grounded and as such won't endure. Things are only truly beautiful as God made them to ...
