BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 7th OCTOBER 2025 WE ARE CHRIST 1 Corinthians 12:12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. (KJV) When we say we are Christ some Christians get offended and argue. But what is Christ? Christ is the image of the invisible God -- Colossians 1:15. What is the image of God? The expression or representation of God. When we got born again we were added to Christ and became Christ. 1 Corinthians 6:17 But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit. We are one with the Lord by our spirit. This means our spirit and Christ has become one spirit-being, the image of God, which is Christ. We have put on Christ; His nature, life and identity, and have become Christ.  Our theme scripture gives us a clear picture. 1 Corinthians 12:12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body:...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 6th OCTOBER 2025 FAITH AND LOVE Galatians 5:6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love. (NIV) When you came into Christ by being born again everything changed, in Christ we operate by different principles and standards. The defining factors in Christ is faith and love. Faith came to us when we heard the Gospel and believed. When we accepted the Lord Jesus into our heart faith was granted us. And with that faith comes His love. These two defines the life of a Christian. And they are the only things that truly matters.  Our faith is in all that He has done for us and who He made us. Our faith is living in His stead. We live by the faith of the Son of God, that is, by who He is.  Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 5th OCTOBER 2025 HE HAS PLANS TO PROSPER YOU Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (NIV) There are those who would not totally surrender everything in their lives to God. For example, their career. They erroneously think that God might not want such a career for them or change it entirely. They are afraid that they might not be what they want if they yield all to God. They have their own plans for their lives and future, and are afraid that God might change it. But they are ignorant that God's plan is always the best.  In Jeremiah 29:11 God says "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." God has plans to prosper you. Plans are not mere desire or wish, but a laid down strategy, idea, format o...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 4th OCTOBER 2025 DON'T BE UNCONCERNED ABOUT OTHERS Ezekiel 16:49 "’Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy. (NIV) Someone might say "I work hard for my money, why should I help people with it? And how is it a sin if I don't help?"  God said this was the sin of Sodom -- she and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help others. Being unconcerned about the plight of other people is a sin. Refusing to help when in a position to help is a sin. God expects you to be concerned about the sufferings of other people whether or not they are related to you. God brought you here so He could do things through you, reach other people through you, bless and uplift them. It is a sin if you do not allow Him to fulfill this purpose through you. And for Him to fulfill His purpose through you, you mu...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 3rd OCTOBER 2025 GLORIOUS THINGS ARE SPOKEN OF YOU Psalms 87:3 Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah. (KJV) It's important that you know what God has spoken of you, only then do you stand a chance of living in them. The people close to you may speak words concerning you, like your parents, siblings, friends and even your leaders at different settings, but what matters most is what the Word says about you.   Some people struggle in life because they are very conscious of the negative things spoken about them. They relate with them every so often and reference them. Don't magnify the negative words spoken against you, if you discover what God has spoken concerning you and hold on to it every other word spoken against you will become void.  In the scriptures a lot of glorious things are spoken of you, they are what you should find out and anchor your life on. Let us look at few of such Scriptures. Isai...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 2nd OCTOBER 2025 TO WILL AND TO ACT  Philippians 2:13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. (NIV) When God commits anything to our care He works with us to ensure we accomplish it. All that He instructs us to do in the Word He actually works in us to do them. When you discover within you a will or desire to do something for the Kingdom it is actually expired in you by the Holy Spirit. For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.  Playing your path in the work of the Kingdom and the assignment God has committed to you would become easy when you recognize and acknowledge that it is God who works in you both to be willing and to be able to do what is required. When you sincerely acknowledge this truth, your responsibility is to focus on the Holy Spirit, listen to Him and do what He leads you to, because He is the One at work in you to...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 1st OCTOBER 2025 PRESENT YOUR REQUESTS TO GOD Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (NIV) This above scripture is a prescription for a time of trouble. It says do not be anxious about anything, but present your request to God with thanksgiving. Instead of getting agitated or worried, present your request to God.  God knows we face challenges. He knows you might have reasons to be worried but He tells you the best solution; present your requests to God. What do you want? God cares about you in every way. He doesn't want you disturbed or agitated. He instructs you to present your requests or troubles to Him. It's comforting to know that God listens to and answers our prayers. There is one thing you should ...
