BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 4th MARCH 2026 PRAYER IS A SOLUTION James 5:13 Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. (NIV) When some people find themselves in a precarious situation and in search of solution, and you say let us pray about it. They look at you and say 'I am talking about a serious problem that needs a serious solution and you are saying let us pray.' That's how some people reason. But prayer is a solution; a powerful and quick one.  The Bible says "Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray." This is God's solution to problem. He didn't say 'Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them cry, beg, run around or look for money.' Prayer is God's remedy for you in time of trouble. If you find yourself in a problem prayer is what you should employ. To some people prayer is for those who has no option or for the weak. They think you pray because you don'...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 3rd MARCH 2026 INCUBATE Genesis 1:2 The earth was without form and an empty waste, and darkness was upon the face of the very great deep. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters. (AMP) The condition of the earth before the Spirit of God brood over it was pathetic. The one word to describe it is 'chaos.' The Bible says "the earth was without form, empty and darkness was over it." It couldn't be worst than that. God's answer to it was His Spirit. His Spirit hovered, brood over the face of the water. What the Spirit actually did was to incubate over the water; that means to hatch or develop. By incubating He created a condition conducive to bring forth light and orderliness.  When a situation becomes chaotic; empty and without form, incubate. When you look and see only contraries incubate. Incubate; hatch or develop a spiritual atmosphere conducive to bring forth what you...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 2nd MARCH 2026 ROOM TO FLOURISH Genesis 26:22 He moved on from there and dug another well, and no one quarreled over it. He named it Rehoboth, saying, "Now the LORD has given us room and we will flourish in the land." (NIV) Isaac dug a well but his neighbouring enemies quarreled over it. He left it for them, moved on and dig another one. But they disputed with him over it also. Again he left it for them, moved on and dug another. This time no one quarreled over it, so he named it Rehoboth, saying, "Now the LORD has given us room and we will flourish in the land." The requirement for flourishing is a room given by God. It comes with rest, and victory over the enemies. Until God gives one rest and room to flourish struggles and contentions continues. A 'room' in our text scripture actually denotes a large and spacious place. And it means freedom and victory over enemies and every contrary. This is what you...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 1st MARCH 2026 BLESSED BEYOND WORDS 2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. (NIV) Being a Christian you are blessed beyond words. God has blessed you abundantly such that in all things at all times you have all that you need, and abound in every good work. Think about that!  We cannot sufficiently explain in words how much God has blessed us. Even our experience of the blessings cannot even explain it all. I am sure when we get to heaven we would be able to see a great deal of our blessings. Imagine a life where you have everything you need every time not depending on anyone or anything! That's how much God has blessed you.  Let's read our theme scripture again, this time in Amplified translation: 2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance,...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 28th FEBRUARY 2026 UNLESS THE LORD BUILDS Psalms 127:1 Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain. (NIV) Do you ever wonder why people fail so miserably in life in spite of all their efforts? Some believe education is the key to success in life; the more educated you are the more successful you would be. But life has taught us over and over again that education doesn't guarantee success.  Men fail in life because they refuse to give God His due place and role in their lives. Life belongs to God; existence belongs to God, everything belongs to God. Your life did not begin the day you were born of your mother; God saw you before this world began. He has a plan for you. You cannot have a plan for yourself outside His plan. That would be rebellion against Him who made you for His glory. Unless God run your life you would ruin your life. Our the...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 27th FEBRUARY 2026 OURS IS THE KINGDOM, POWER AND GLORY Matthew 6:13 ...For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. (NIV) This verse refers to God the Father but He has given them all (the Kingdom, power and glory) to us being His heirs. -- Romans 8:17. So ours is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory forever. Amen. This might be too big for the natural mind, but it's true anyway. That's the reason Jesus came, and through the Holy Spirit He has freely given us the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory. Luke 22:29 And I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Father conferred one on me, A Kingdom is conferred on you. You have a Kingdom in the Kingdom of God, and He has made you a king. Every functioning kingdom has a jurisdiction of power. And God has given us His incomparably great power, the same He used to raise the Lord Jesus from the dead.  Ephesians 1:19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 26th FEBRUARY 2026 THE MESSAGE OF THE CROSS 1 Corinthians 1:18,23-24 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. (NIV) The message of the cross is Christ crucified. This is a stumbling block to the Jews (the religious) and foolishness to the Gentiles (the learned). But it is the power of God unto salvation for all who believe. The message of the cross of Christ makes of no value the religion that the Jews relied. Because it says Christ has been crucified, all who believe are made righteous you don't need the law to be righteous; the Jews says no, that's a stumbling block to our law.  On the other hand the Gentiles; the non-Jews, most of whom are learned peo...
