BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 26th MARCH 2026 LIVE IN HIS STEAD John 20:31 But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name. (NIV) Having believed in Jesus and confessed His Lordship over your life you received His life. You are not expected to live it as you deem fit. You now live for Him. Living for Christ is more than living to please Him but living in His stead.  We live in His stead. That is, we live in His place; we live as He would because He lives through us. The Bible says "But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name." To live in His Name means to live in His total Person. That is not the same as representing His person but being His representation. Being His representation means we are His empress image; His exact expression. Such that all that He is and represe...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 25th MARCH 2026 BE AWARE Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. (NIV) Someone bought a solar panel and placed it outside to have contact with the sun. But whenever it's raining he would move it inside the house. One day a friend visited him and it was about to rain he wanted to go and bring the solar panel inside. His friend told him he didn't have to. That it is waterproof. All these while he was not aware.  The word translated "know" in our opening scripture is the Greek "eido" which means "aware." We are aware that in all things God works for our good. There is no telling what such awareness can do for you.  Are you aware that God has made all your needs readily available? Are you aware that you are superior to satan? Are you also aware that you are forever victorious over Satan, disease, the wor...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 24th MARCH 2026 ALREADY FULFILLED 2 Corinthians 1:20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God. (NIV) God has said yes to all the promises He has ever made to man. There is no pending promise. For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God. All we need to do is say the 'Amen' in agreement. God has said 'yes' in Christ Jesus to all the promises.  When we say they are "yes" in Christ, it means everything God ever promised is now fulfilled in Christ. And all that one needs to do is to enter Christ. They are all already fulfilled in Christ. If you are born again then you are in Christ and the promises are already fulfilled unto you. You might say 'I can't see them, I don't ha...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 23rd MARCH 2026 USE IT TO ADVANCE THE GOSPEL Philippians 1:12-13 Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel. As a result, it has become clear throughout the whole palace guard and to everyone else that I am in chains for Christ. (NIV) The Apostle Paul said "Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters..." But not every christian can say this. Some do not want anybody to know what they are going through because they are not using it to advance the Gospel. It's not the unfavorable circumstance that happens to you that matters but what you do with it. It's not bad because it is bad, it's bad because the affected person doesn't know how to turn it to good. For the child of God all things work together for good even when it seems bad.  Use the things that happen with you or to you to advance the Gospel; be it the seemingly bad things and ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 22nd MARCH 2026 AVOID DISTRACTIONS Hebrews 12:2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. (NIV) As a Christian your focus is very important. If you were very good in sewing but while sewing turn your attention to something else you would mess up that dress. If you think you are a sound Christian so to say but do not focus on Jesus and His word you can't go far in the walk. In a world where everything, both good and bad desires your attention you will need to be determine and deliberate to keep your focus on Jesus. The Bible says "fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith." This denotes turning attention away from something unto Jesus. Don't give your attention to everything that demands it. Be smart! God cannot use you without you being focused. And you ca...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 21st MARCH 2026 TRANSFERRED INTO HIS KINGDOM Colossians 1:13 who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of his love; (NIV) A Christian realising his real environment and living in the light of it is all important to his success, victory and effectiveness in life. The Bible says in our opening verse "who delivered us out of the power of darkness." So where exactly did this take place, in our house, workplace or street? It took place in the spirit. And it is our spirit not our physical body that was delivered. When He delivered us nothing visible happened in our physical body and our physical location did not change either.  He delivered us out of the kingdom of darkness and translated or transferred us into the Kingdom of His love Son. And where is this Kingdom? It's in the spirit realm. And we literally live here by our spirit. Get this, the spirit realm is more signif...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 20th MARCH 2026 BEHOLD THE NEW THINGS 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (KJV) Everyone who has received Christ as Lord is recreated in Christ Jesus (born anew or born again) and is like God in true righteousness and holiness. -- "Ephesians 4:24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness." He has no past, he is a new creature; a new species, a kind that never existed before. Yet although most Christians agree to this truth not everyone of them live in the light of it. But the blesssings thereof only manifest when one lives in the light of it. The Bible says "behold, all things are become new." Here is the challenge of some; refusing to behold and recognize the new things. Even though all things are new in the life of a Christian until he sees them he cannot enjoy them...
