THERE IS A REWARD

Revelation 22:11-12 Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy." "Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. (NIV)

The words of the scripture above is the very words of the Lord Jesus Himself. He said "Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done."
He charged us to continue to do right and be holy, that there is a reward for us. Those who do wrong and live a vile life should be wise enough to repent, otherwise their reward too is coming.

Don't change your right course because of people. Don't stop doing good because someone paid you back evil for good. Continue to do what is right in the eyes of your Master, and continue to be holy. He has a reward for you. 

What we do here doesn't end here. Heaven has records of our good or bad. And none will go unrewarded. 
2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.

Notice the expression "for we MUST all appear..." no one can escape the judgment seat of Christ. It is not an invitation one can choose not to honour. We MUST ALL appear before the judgment seat of Christ to receive what is due us for the things we did while in this body whether good or bad. The reward is compulsory, whether reward for good or bad. You can't choose not to accept your reward.

Therefore my brothers and sisters continue to do good, and to labour in the work of the Lord.
1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

There is surely a reward for your labour in the Lord. The Lord Jesus Himself said "Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me..." Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Precious Father I thank You for the honor and privilege to be in the service of your Kingdom. Lord You are my rewarder for all that you enable me to do. Through the help of the Spirit I will continue to do what is right knowing that my labour in the Lord is not in vain. Amen!
