BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 1st APRIL 2026 GO AND CELEBRATE Nehemiah 8:10 Nehemiah said, "Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength." (NIV) Celebration is of God. After some of the Israelites who had gone into captivity returned to Jerusalem and carried out the work of rebuilding the city Ezra assembled the people and read the law of Moses to them. When they heard it they were all filled with joy. Nehemiah one of the leaders responded and said to the people "Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength." In other words, he said to them 'go and celebrate.' Having found the law (God's word) which is their blessing they ought to celebrate.
