BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 31st MAY 2025 NO SAFER PLACE Acts 17:28 ’For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ’We are his offspring.’(NIV) Everyone in the world wants a place of safety and security. When there is turmoil and unrest in a place those living there seeks to relocate to a safer place. But very few ever thought of relocating to Christ. Christ is a place as much as your city is a place. It is a tangible place in the spirit where you can live in and experience its atmosphere in this physical world.  Our theme scripture says "For in him we live and move and have our being." Who does it refer to? Christ. Christ is not only the Son of God, the Anointed, the Sent One by also a place. A place with its own atmosphere. It was the place the Israelites lived when they came out of Egypt carrying their own atmosphere. A pillar of cloud followed them by day to keep heat away from them, and a pillar of fire b...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 30th MAY 2025 A BLANK CHEQUE John 16:23 In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you WHATEVER YOU ASK IN MY NAME.(NIV) It doesn't cost God anything to give you anything you ask because Jesus' death is the true cost of everything He's given you. By His death He paid for your sins and by His resurrection He brought you into salvation and every good thing there is. When the Lord Jesus said "the Father will give you whatever you ask in my Name" it was based on a legal ground, God had to, because Jesus earned every good thing for us. When we pray in His Name, we ask in His stead. It is as though Jesus were asking the Father by Himself, we ask on His merit not ours. And as such the Father cannot say no. The Lord Jesus declares that WHATEVER you ask the Father in my Name He will give you. That's a blank cheque. The ball is in your court. Ask Him whatever you want....

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 29th MAY 2025 CONTINUE IN IT James 1:25 But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and CONTINUES IN IT —not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it —they will be blessed in what they do. (NIV) The perfect law that gives freedom is the law of the Spirit of life - Romans 8:2. The law of the Spirit of life sets you free from the law of sin and death. Having received the life of Christ the Spirit of God brought you into the liberty of God's sons. That means you are free to be who you are in Christ.  As you look into the perfect law it shows you who you are in Christ, and the Bible says as it shows you continue in it. James 1:25 But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and CONTINUES IN IT —not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it —they will be blessed in what they do. It's not enough to just read about the truth of the Gospel, you have to continue in it. Meditate...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 28th MAY 2025 DISPATCH YOUR ANGELS Hebrews 1:14 Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation? (NIV) Every child of God has Angels at his disposal to serve him. But how do they serve us? Not by talking to us or giving us advice or instruction. But by carrying out instructions from our words. They serve us, do things for us by our words. Whenever we speak in line with the truth of the Gospel of Christ they receive instructions from our words.  Angels obey our words but not every of our word. They only obey us in the light and provision of the Gospel. Whenever we speak contrary to the Gospel they do nothing, for they understand perfectly the Gospel of Christ. There are those whose Angels are not active because they only become active for us by our words.  You have Angels at your disposal, dispatch them! You don't have to call them and say go or come. They know what to do when you speak...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley  27th MAY 2025 IT'S AN ABILITY Isaiah 12:2-3 Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation." With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. (NIV) God has become our salvation, deliverance and blessings. But it takes joy to draw out the benefits of salvation. Where is this wells of salvation? It's within you. It is Holy Spirit in you. John 7:38-39 Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them." By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified. Rivers of living water flows from the wells of salvation within you, which is the Holy Spirit Himself. One of the characteristics of the Holy Spirit is joy. It takes joy to draw water from the wells...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley  26th MAY 2025 HE RESTORES YOU Joel 2:25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. (KJV) For several reasons we suffer loss in the course of our journey through this world. It may not be due to our mistakes but it does happen. And it could happen many times during our time here but God restores us each of those times. God says "And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm." God restores us from time to time otherwise we would have been left with nothing considering how much and how many times we have suffered losses. Truth is, we are not always aware of every loss we suffer, or least the implications of the loss we had.  Maybe you have had losses in your business, marriage or pursuit in life. Maybe even loss of time, opportunity or a...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley  25th MAY 2025 A GUARANTEE SECURITY Psalms 121:3-4 He will not let your foot slip — he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. (NIV) Though we may not all the time be very conscious of God's active watch over our lives it is His watch that is our security. For instance, when we are asleep we know nothing about what goes on, we only wake up and because conscious of our environment again. But God never sleeps nor slumbers He watches over us. He is a guarantee security.  God has the responsibility to watch over our lives and protect us because we are His very own -- He created us for Himself. He not only watch over us to protect us physically but also our endeavors and pursuits. He protects our interest, destiny, dreams and pursuits in life. He protects and preserves our business, marriage, home and career.  Living in this body of flesh we are limited in w...
