THE POWER OF LOVE chapter 6 episode 1

EPISODE 1


Chapter 6 -- Love is care. 


Love can only be caring. It cannot hurt or rejoice over the hurt of others. Rather itself is hurt when others are hurt and finds a way to express its care for them. Love cares. Care is substance. Care is answer. Love answers to the needs of others.


Jesus' love for the church is the perfect example for marital love. He loved the church as His wife and gave Himself up for her to make her what He wanted Her to be; without stain, wrinkle or blemish but Holy and Perfect.


Everyone who loves (Eros) whether in a relationship or Marriage must emulate Jesus. 

Ephesians 5:28-30 In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church — for we are members of his body.

 Christ cares for the church. Care is an expression of love. We couldn't say we love someone and not care for them. We couldn't say we care and there is no tangible proof of it. 


Jesus showed His love for the church by caring and that care was evident in what He did for her. 

We can't careless for those we love. Love is care.

CARE IS MAINTENANCE. 


Ephesians 5:25-27 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.

Jesus did not only made the church what He wanted her to be but also ensured her continuous maintenance by the washing with water through the Word. He continued the ministry of the Word to the church for her continuous cleansing, preservation, blessings and sustainance. Love sustains.

Your love has to substain those you love.

Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. The commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not covet," and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself." Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. First the word states that 'you owe everyone love' this means you should not find anyone you cannot or should not love.
