PROCLAIM GOODNEWS

Luke 4:18-19 "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor." (NIV)

Everyone who has received the Holy Spirit is anointed by the Spirit. And that anointing is for a purpose; to proclaim, announce, publish and make known the provisions of the Gospel. The Gospel is good news because of what Jesus did for mankind. His death was a payment for man's sins; in which the old man died and is no more. In His resurrection a new creation began; a new kind of man began. And that is the good news but not everyone is aware.

You have a divine responsibility to proclaim the good news of Christ. What He did He did for man and man ought to know and take advantage of it. But not everyone is aware, and still some heard the wrong message. And that's where you come in because they can't hear the good news without someone preaching to them. 

You did not receive the Holy Spirit to make your life better. You did not receive the Holy Spirit to be self-sufficient. You did not receive the Holy Spirit to cease being in the world. No! You received the Holy Spirit to fulfill your destiny of being in Christ; to live who Christ made you and to be a blessing to others. And the greatest way to be a blessing is being a conduit for their salvation. 

The Lord has anointed you to proclaim good news to the poor, freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.
We are in the year of the Lord's favour. Now is the time of the Lord's favour. But people won't know it unless you tell them. Get to work!

CONFESSION

I declare with my mouth that the Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor. Amen Hallelujah!

(NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
