THE NAME, THE WORD AND THE SPIRIT


Philippians 2:9-11 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (NIV)


What you require to solve any challenge is the Name, the Word and the Spirit. Irrespective of the circumstance you find yourself in, whether sickness, hopelessness, failure or even the death of a loved one all you need is these three. 


Your understanding of the Name of Jesus, the Word (the Gospel of God), and the Spirit of God will have significant impact on your life and the way you relate and deal with the circumstances of life. 

You have to understand that the Name of Jesus is sovereign over every name, people, organization, thing, disease and infirmity. What we read in Philippians 2:9-11 is God's sovereign declaration. It is a law that at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow in heaven, on earth and under the earth, and every tongue should acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord. Be conscious of this whenever you use the Name of Jesus.


Another thing is the Word. Let us read 1 Peter 1:25 but the word of the Lord endures forever." And this is the word that was preached to you.

The Word referred here is the Gospel of Jesus that was preached to you. It means the body of truth of the Gospel. What the Gospel actually means. The Gospel is goodnews; the sick healed, the blind see, the lame walk, the deef hear, the dumb speak, the poor rich. When you get the Word (the truth) concerning your health enforce it using the Name of Jesus and the power of God's Spirit will bring it to pass.

Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

The Holy Spirit is a Person of God given you to help you live the eternal life you have received. And one of the things He does for you is to empower you to demonstrate the power of the Kingdom. When you speak in the Name of Jesus in agreement with the Word the power of the Holy Spirit brings it to pass; He causes it to happen. 


So all you need in the face of adversity is to speak the Word in the Name and the Spirit will cause it to happen. 


PRAYER


Father I thank You for the Name of Jesus which you have given me to use and the Word you have granted me to understand and function by and the Holy Spirit you filled me with who empowers me and causes my words to happen, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

(NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
