THE WONDERS OF WISDOM Chapter 6 episode 1

BRINGS PEACE AND PROSPERITY

Proverbs 3:1-2 My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity.

One of the significance of wisdom is peace with prosperity. Many people seek these two very important elements of life but not many seek wisdom yet peace and prosperity are with wisdom.

These words in Proverbs 3:1-2 are King David's counsel to his son Solomon who was about to take over from him as king of Israel, he said to him "My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity."

David had enjoyed peace and prosperity in the midst of wars. Take note, peace is not the absence of trouble or urest but rest and progress in spite of troubles. So David says to his son that through wisdom he could have peace and prosperity irrespective of whatever happens.

Indeed wisdom brings peace and prosperity. The wisdom that would bring you peace and prosperity is the wisdom you do not forget but keep in your heart. How do you keep wisdom in your heart? Through meditation. The first activeness of wisdom is meditation. Wisdom become active in your heart when you meditate upon it. If you meditate upon it long enough it becomes a force which would propel you to action. If you merely receive counsel from wisdom and not meditate upon it it might not profit you much. Wisdom brings profit through meditation.

Peace and prosperity are with wisdom. It is wisdom who tells you what to say or do that would lead you into peace and prosperity. It's important that you understand that wisdom gives instructions, it would not give you peace and prosperity from the sky. Peace and prosperity comes when you act on those instructions. Simply put wisdom tells you what to say or do in order to be successful and prosperous in life.

If you have been wondering why things hasn't been booming in your life, business, job, home, listen to wisdom, he has something to tell you that would change the entire state of your life if you heed to his counsel. He says "My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity." -- Proverbs 3:1-2

PROFITABLE THAN SILVER; BETTER RETURNS THAN GOLD

If there is an investment that is profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold, I am sure you would key in. And there is, and it is wisdom. 
Proverbs 3:13-15 Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding, for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her.

Invest in wisdom. A lot of people search for investment opportunities that are guaranteed to yield much returns in a short time. But very few would consider wisdom. I recommend wisdom to you. It is more profitable than forex trade and yields better returns than stock exchange. 

Invest in wisdom; spend time studying the Word of God and be determined to apply its principles in your life; it's profitable, it yields returns.

RICHES AND HONOUR

Proverbs 3:16 Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor.

Everyone in our world basically seeks riches and honor. Their deficiency of it shows in their craving of it. If you see a man who lacks riches and honor you can easily tell. You would hear it in his words and see it in his actions. He shows off like a rich person but he is not. He shows off like a honoured person but he is not. He shows off because that's what he wishes but doesn't have it. You don't have to be that way. No! Get wisdom. Riches and honor are with wisdom.

Proverbs 3:16 Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor.
Long life is in her right hand, riches and honor in her left hand. Through the application of wisdom one become rich and honourable. Interestingly when wisdom gives you riches he adds honour, they are inseparable. But the riches of the world doesn't guarantee honor. In the world some are rich but without honour. Some are honoured but are not rich. Wisdom gives you both. Hallelujah!

PATHS OF PEACE

Wisdom puts you on the paths of peace. There are a lot of people who have no peace on their paths in life. But wisdom leads you on the paths of peace. Your job path become full of peace, your business path, family path and so on through wisdom.
Proverbs 3:17 Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace.

The ways of wisdom are pleasant. Her paths are peace. Both ways and paths here means the same thing. The way or path you take in life. Your course or endeavour in life; your business endeavour or course. They are ways or paths because all of us are involved in many endeavours at the same time. We are in a marriage path, business path, job path, academic path, career path at the same time.

If we follow wisdom he will make our paths or ways to be pleasant and peaceful. Some people get into the marriage path and from the first day on they have never experienced peace or pleasure. They should turn to wisdom; Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace. If you listen to her she will tell you how to make your way pleasant and peaceful. Glory to God!
