INTRODUCTION

Wisdom is perculiar to individual, people, nation, earthly or heavenly. Wisdom is reality. One person's reality differs from another. People's reality differs. Earthly wisdom differs from heavenly.

Wisdom is a state of your vision; it is about what you see and say. In the midst of crisis one person sees one thing another person see differently. Each in his own level of wisdom. We all see in our levels of wisdom. Nobody is unwise, at least everyone is wise in their own eyes.

Wisdom is the application of what you know. You see by knowledge what to do or say, when you do or say it, it is wisdom. How wise a person is, is justified by the result of his wisdom. Wisdom is only tangible by results. Even words are not enough to deem one a wise person. It is the result of wisdom that justifies the one who claims to be wise. Wisdom is not mere words because true wisdom is a force which produces results.

HIDDEN BUT WISE

Ecclesiastes 9:13-15 I also saw under the sun this example of wisdom that greatly impressed me: There was once a small city with only a few people in it. And a powerful king came against it, surrounded it and built huge siege works against it. Now there lived in that city a man poor but wise, and he saved the city by his wisdom. But nobody remembered that poor man.

I said wisdom is justified by results. This above story justify my claim. This particular city had a king and many prominent people. When an enemy came against their city they all must have voiced their wisdom and even applied it to no avail; their wisdom couldn't produce any solution to the challenge that befell their city.

If for any reason they wanted to count the wise people of the day they sure wouldn't have counted the poor but wise man. Yet it was his wisdom that saved the entire city. The rich are not always the wise, the prominent are not always the wise, those in high political position are not always the wise. Wisdom is known by its deeds. It is result that justifies true wisdom. Because wisdom always works.

In this book we shall learn about the works or wonders of wisdom. Indeed the works of wisdom are wonders. Another subject we could have named this book is THE WORKS OF WISDOM but we named it THE WONDERS OF WISDOM because the works of wisdom are wonders.

HUMAN WISDOM OR GOD'S WISDOM

There are basically two kinds of wisdom. The human wisdom and God's Wisdom. The way God sees things and communicates them is far different from the way man see and communicate. The result of human wisdom is different from God's.

Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Corinth reminded them that he did not come to them with human wisdom. That tells us that the Gospel of Jesus cannot be preached in a human wisdom nor can it produce fruits through human wisdom. The Gospel doesn't appeal to human wisdom (senses).
1 Corinthians 2:1 And so it was with me, brothers and sisters. When I came to you, I did not come with eloquence or human wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God.

However we speak God's Wisdom. God expects us to. We speak based on God's perspective and result is guaranteed.
1 Corinthians 2:6-7 We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. No, we declare God’s wisdom, a mystery that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began.

In this book we will be discussing the wisdom of God, not human wisdom nor the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age. We shall be learning the wonders of the wisdom of God.
So journey with me as we learn. God bless you!
