HOPE COMES WHEN YOU PRAY

Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. (NIV)

Life's circumstances could be overwhelming. God knows that, that's why He said do not be anxious about anything. Because there is the possibility to be anxious. 

One might find himself in a situation that seems hopeless. He looks to the right and left and there seems to be no hope. If you ever find yourself in such a situation, pray. Hope comes alive when you pray. That's one of the blessings of prayer. The Spirit brings you hope and help you see a way forward where there seems to be none. 

When you pray hope comes but not a baseless hope. The hope the Spirit brings you in time of prayer is hope of a solution or change to the circumstance at hand. When you pray He shows you what to do or tell you what He will do.
So the Bible says in Philippians 4:6 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."

When you present your requests, God presents a solution, then hope comes alive, and brings peace to your mind and heart.
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

This peace which transcends all understanding only comes after prayer; the kind of prayer that cause hope to spring up. Don't give yourself the impression that there is no hope, no! Pray, hope will come alive when you pray.

CONFESSION

Precious Father, I refuse to be anxious about anything but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, I present my requests to You. And your peace which transcends all understanding guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus causing hope to come alive in me. Amen.
