COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS

Genesis 24:35-36 The LORD has blessed my master abundantly, and he has become wealthy. He has given him sheep and cattle, silver and gold, male and female servants, and camels and donkeys. My master’s wife Sarah has borne him a son in her old age, and he has given him everything he owns. (NIV)

Abraham sent his servant to go to his relative to get a wife for his son Isaac. When he found Rebekah a daughter of Bethuel, a relative of Abraham, he followed her to her house to see her people. When everyone was seated and was time for Introduction he counted before the people the blessings God had blessed Abraham with.

He said in Genesis 24:35-36 "The LORD has blessed my master abundantly, and he has become wealthy. He has given him sheep and cattle, silver and gold, male and female servants, and camels and donkeys. My master’s wife Sarah has borne him a son in her old age, and he has given him everything he owns.

He listed some of the blessings of Abraham before the people; he counted them. And we all at some point has to stop and count our blessings. 
For some people all they count and make list of are the things that failed or are negatives. Look around you, look back from January till now, make a list of the good things which the Lord made happen for you and count your blessings. 

Offering words and substance of thanks to God becomes easy when we take time to remember and count God's blessings in our lives. The Bible says He daily loads us with benefits.
Psalms 68:19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.

If you would count the daily blessings and benefits you enjoyed in the course of this year you will bless the Lord and thank Him continually. Everyday came with blessings, everyday came with benefits from the Lord. Look around you, look at your loved ones and the Lord's benefits in their lives. Look at your children and the Lord's benefits in their lives. Remember the help that came to you when things almost went bad. Count your blessings, remember the Lord's benefits and bless His Holy Name.

PRAYER

Thank You Lord of heaven and earth for all your blessings and benefits in my life. You daily loads me with benefits and blessings and they have been my experience. Thank You for all the blessings for they are too numerous to count. Hallelujah!
