HITCH UP YOUR CHARIOT

1 Kings 18:44 The seventh time the servant reported, "A cloud as small as a man’s hand is rising from the sea." So Elijah said, "Go and tell Ahab, ’Hitch up your chariot and go down before the rain stops you.’"

In Bible days chariot was a form of a vehicle. It was for mobility. Elijah told king Ahab to get his chariot ready and ride off before the rain comes otherwise he couldn't ride in the heavy rain which was about to fall. 

There is the sound of a heavy rain that is coming in the coming year. And you need to prepare your chariot. 
1 Kings 18:41 And Elijah said to Ahab, "Go, eat and drink, for there is the sound of a heavy rain."

In this coming year there is the sound of great things and abundance but only those who prepare their chariots will enjoy it. In the coming year whatever you have been waiting for will come but you will have to be well prepared to take hold of it. 

Prepare your chariot; your vehicle. Which vehicle would you use in the coming year? Will it be suitable for the kind of abundance of rain that will come? With what will you journey through the coming year? What will you be riding? What will be your driving force and focus? What vision would dictate your direction? Is it your business, job, career or academic? 

Define the chariot you want to use and hitch it up. Be prepared for the heavy rain which is coming. Be prepared!
It had not rained in the land of Israel for three and half years. Then it was about to rain for the first time. It was a good news. But Elijah said to Ahab "Hitch up your chariot and go down before the rain stops you.’"
The good thing that was coming could stop king Ahab if he didn't prepare and move forward early. 

Be well prepared for the good things that will be happening in this coming year and take advantage of them rather than being on the wrong side of the good things. Hitch up your chariot; prepare your vehicle. I hear the sound of a heavy rain. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Thank You Lord for the sound of a heavy rain. Thank You for the abundance that is coming in this coming year. Through the wisdom of your Word and the Spirit I am well prepared to ride through the coming year in victory, abundance, dominion and testimonies, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
