WORK THE WORD

John 8:31-32 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." (NIV)

The truth sets free those who know it not those who heard it. There is a huge difference. Someone may hear something but do not know or understand it. The truth produce results for those who know what it is. You have to know what truth is for it to work for you. 

The Word of God is the truth of God. The truth of God is the reality or state of things before God. When the Word comes to you, it tells you the reality of what it communicates to you. And if that reality is not your experience you have the responsibility to work the word to become your experience. 

The Word declares that we are blessed with every spiritual blessing (every good thing you can think of).
Ephesians 1:3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.
Yet you find that many good things are still not within your reach. What do you do? Work the word.

The Lord Jesus said "...If you hold to my teaching (word), you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." John 8:31-32
You hold to the word when you keep it settled in your heart as your reality. The word has to be a reality in your heart first before it becomes a reality in your life. Only the Word you experience in your heart you experience in your life.

If the Word stays in your heart long enough it will become real in your heart and you will know (get acquainted with) the truth and that truth will produce the results of what it talks about. And then you speak forth continually and consistently what it produce in you. This is how to work the word. Practise it.

Work the word concerning your finances, work the word concerning your business, health, marriage, family and job.

PRAYER

Thank You Lord for your infallible Word and the blessings its comes with. Your truth that I know set me free and produce the results of what it says. I am a doer of the Word, as I hold on to the Word and meditate on it, I see the reality of what it says and thereby producing the results in my life, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
