AN IRREVERSIBLE VICTORY

Acts 2:24 But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him. (NIV)

The victory the Lord Jesus earned and gave us is based on His resurrection. It was His victorious resurrection from the dead that sealed our victory. If He had not risen there would be no victory. And because death was powerless (not possible for it) to keep Him in the realm of the dead He is forever victorious over death, and so are we! It is an irreversible victory.

Let us read Romans 6:9-11 "For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus."
In the same way we are dead to sin once for all time, we cannot die again. For we have been raised together with Christ, we are alive and we are alive unto God. We cannot die again. Does it mean physical death? First it means spiritual death, and secondly, we cannot die physical death before we use up our time on earth. We have an allotted time on earth, God didn't intend that we stay here forever; it's not His will that we would never leave this world. No!

Real death is not physical but spiritual. Physical death is just an exit out of this world. No one's life began on earth or will end on it. Life goes on and on in eternity with God (heaven) or without God (hell fire).

So when we say we will never die we are talking about the real death, spiritual death (a separation from God) who is Himself life.
Through Jesus Christ God has given us victory over sin, death, devil and the world. And it is an irreversible victory.
1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Your victory in Christ is sealed; it's irreversible. Walk in it. Live as one who is truly victorious and in charge. As it is impossible for Jesus to die again so it is impossible for you to be under the dominion of sin, death, devil or the world. 

CONFESSION

Christ has been raised from the dead and He cannot died again. And I having been raised together with Him has conquered sin, death, satan and the world. It is impossible for satan, works of darkness, sin, disease and infirmity to keep their hold on me. For I reckon myself dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!
