THE GODMAN

Matthew 8:26-27 He replied, "You of little faith, why are you so afraid?" Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm. The men were amazed and asked, "What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!" (NIV)

The Lord Jesus did so many amazing things that baffled the people of His day.
One time He was on a boat with His disciples crossing over to the other side of the lake when suddenly a great storm came against the boat. They were all terrified and woke Him up. Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.

Matthew 8:27 The men were amazed and asked, "What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!"
They asked, what kind of man is this? In other words, what type of man is this? But Jesus didn't give them an answer. But we got it later through the revelation of the Holy Spirit in the scriptures. Jesus Christ was Godman. But they didn't know it.

What does it mean to be Godman? It means a man who house the fullness of the Godhead (Deity). It means the Almighty God in a human body. 
Colossians 2:9-10 For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority.

That's it. In Christ dwells all the fullness of Deity. And in Christ you have been brought to fullness. That means, like Christ, in you dwells all the fullness of the Godhead (Deity). And that makes you the Godman today. Yes, you are the Godman today. Jesus Christ is in heaven now and no longer in a human body. But you are here in a human body and God Almighty is alive in and through you. You are Godman.

The Bible says in John 1:16 "Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given."
Out of everything inside Him we have received. And every thing inside Him is of the Godhead. Of His grace we have received, of His blessings we have received, of His nature we have received, of His life and immortality we have received and so. 

Function as the Godman that you are; think, talk and act as God would. Decree a thing and have it established, for the Greater One is inside you. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

In Christ dwells all the fullness of Deity and I have been brought to this fullness in Him. Out of His fullness I have received Grace, His nature, life and immortality. God lives in and through me today, I am the Godman and I function as such by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
