OUR LIGHT AFFLICTION

2 Corinthians 4:16-17 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; (KJV)

The Bible acknowledge that we experience affliction, that is; trouble, hardship and persecution. And all of these affects our physical body; our outward man. Though our outward man perish, suffers, our inward man is renewed day by day. This means that the affliction of our physical body doesn't affect our inward man unless we allow it to through our wrong confession. 

The Bible says our affliction is light. We might think we are going through a lot but the Bible says it's light affliction. And that it is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. What is accomplished in us in our time of trials is eternal glory. We might not see it but it is. 

We faint not in time of trials or affliction because we know it is working out something bigger and better in us and for us. We are continually being renewed on the inside irrespective of what happens on the outside so long we look not at what is seen but what is unseen.
2 Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

What you look at matters, and makes the ultimate difference. If you look at what is seen you might get overwhelmed with trials and give up, but if you look and fix your eyes on what is unseen, though your outward man suffers your inward man is renewed day by day. Strength comes when we look at the unseen. We are renewed, invigorated and rejuvenated when we look and fix our eyes on the unseen realities in the Word. 

The challenges are light and temporal. They fade away while we look not and keep our focus on them. Get your focus off the challenges that may surround you unto the unseen glory and blessings that are in you.

CONFESSION

Inwardly I am being renewed daily irrespective of the troubles outwardly. My light and temporal troubles are achieving for me exceeding and eternal weight of glory while I look not at the things we are seen and temporal but at the things which are unseen and eternal. Hallelujah!
