BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 30th APRIL 2024 THANK GOD FOR THINGS TO COME John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. (KJV) Instead of worrying about the bad that might happen tomorrow or living in the fantasy of the good that might happen tomorrow, why not just thank God for the things to come? Just thank Him for the things to come; both the good and the seemingly bad. The Bible says the Holy Spirit will show you things to come. And when He does He doesn't take you out of today into tomorrow or cause you to abandon today and live in the fantasy of tomorrow, no! When He shows you things that would come tomorrow it is so that you prepare yourself today for them. It is to align your today to produce the tomorrow you are destined for. When He shows you a great tomorrow He wants you to put th...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 29th APRIL 2024 LEAVE TOMORROW'S WORRY FOR NOW Matthew 6:34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. (NIV) One of the things that make people unproductive in the now and not even enjoy the blessings and privileges of today is the worry about tomorrow. Our Lord Jesus said in our opening verse "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." In other words He said, leave tomorrow for now. Face today's challenges, when tomorrow's challenges come you face them. If you set your mind on the troubles that might arise tomorrow you won't see the solutions for today's problems. If you set your heart on tomorrow's possibilities you won't see the opportunities of today. If you are getting yourself ready for the excitement and celebration which tomorrow might brin...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 28th APRIL 2024 DON'T BITE EACH OTHER Galatians 5:14-15 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself." If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other. (NIV) The Bible declares that every one of us who has received Christ is a member of the Body of Christ. And as such all of us makes up one individual body. I am you and you are me. And we all belongs to each other. Our theme scripture instructs us not to bite and devour each other or we might destroy ourselves. Yet some of us don't yield to this. You find in the church all manner of gossips. We malign each other. We criticize each other. We backstab each other and eventually we are destroying ourselves. This is one of the reasons the church of our day is not walking in power. The early church walked in love and walked in power. They were of one mind. Whenever they had dispute they ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 27th APRIL 2024 IT IS FOR FREEDOM Galatians 5:1 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. (NIV) This above verse clearly implies that freedom is the purpose for which Christ set us free. He set us free so that we could experience and enjoy freedom, and walk in it continually.  God doesn't want us to be under any bondage to anything or anyone, or being controlled by anything or anyone. Only God is above us, His children. We can only be under His Lordship, leadership and Fatherhood. We are not in bondage to God and He doesn't manipulate our lives. It is not His idea that we should be manipulated by any man, devil or circumstances of life. He wants us free. God want you free. Don't let yourself be burdened and controlled by senses, demons or circumstances of life. And don't be in bondage to men. Galatians 4:25-26 Now Hagar stands f...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 26th APRIL 2024 CALLED TO LIVE IN THE GRACE OF CHRIST Galatians 1:6 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel — (NIV) Apostle Paul's declaration in this above verse means that the Christian is called to live in the Grace of Christ. Living outside the Grace of Christ is living outside the will of God. It is God's will that we live in the Grace of Christ. Living in the Grace of Christ also means living in the place of Christ, that is, living in His stead.  The Christian Life is living the Christ life. A Christian is one who live the Christ life. And that is what Grace is; living in everything He is and has -- living on His merit and not your own merit. You were born and called to live in the grace of Christ. You died in His death, His life began in you in His resurrection. The life you have in you now is His very life. Living t...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 25th APRIL 2024 HIS GLORIOUS BODY Philippians 3:20-21 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body. (NIV) The Bible declares that there are heavenly bodies and earthly bodies. 1 Corinthians 15:40 There are also heavenly bodies and there are earthly bodies; but the splendor of the heavenly bodies is one kind, and the splendor of the earthly bodies is another.  Simply say, there is a body used in heaven and there is a body used on earth. This our earthly body cannot be used in heaven. We cannot enter heaven with our earthly bodies. We will have to be changed. And the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 15:51, "Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed —" How exactly are we going to look when we...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 24th APRIL 2024 IT'S CONFIDENTIAL 1 Timothy 1:11 According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust. (KJV) The mystery and blessings of the Gospel of Christ is not made known to everyone but only those who has received Jesus and yielded their wholeheart to Him. The trusts of the Gospel are confidential. Only a trustworthy and reliable person could receive them.  Apostle Paul said that God committed the Gospel to His trust. Not every Christian is entrusted with the deep things of the Kingdom, even though God would that every Christian has full knowledge of the deep trusts of the Gospel. These trusts are not giveaways. Someone has to be trustworthy for them, they are confidential. You find some people since they became Christians they have never led anyone to salvation. These kind of people would be limited in the knowledge of the Kingdom, because they are not bearing fruit with what they already...
