BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 3rd NOVEMBER 2025 ROOM TO FLOURISH Genesis 26:22 He moved on from there and dug another well, and no one quarreled over it. He named it Rehoboth, saying, "Now the LORD has given us room and we will flourish in the land." (NIV) Isaac dug a well but his neighbouring enemies quarreled over it. He left it for them, moved on and dug another. But they disputed with him over it also. Again he left it for them, moved on and dug another. This time no one quarreled over it, so he named it Rehoboth, saying, "Now the LORD has given us room and we will flourish in the land." The requirement for flourishing is a room given by God. It comes with rest, and victory over the enemies. Until God gives one rest and room to flourish struggles and contentions continues. A "room" in our theme scripture actually denotes a large and spacious place. And it means freedom and victory over enemies and every contrary. This is what y...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 2nd NOVEMBER 2025 BLESSED BEYOND WORDS 2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. (NIV) The Christian is actually blessed beyond words. God has blessed us abundantly such that in all things at all times we have all that we need, and abound in every good work. Think about that!  We cannot adequately explain in words how much God has blessed us. Even our experience of the blessings cannot even explain it all. I am sure when we get to heaven we will be able to see a great deal of our blessings. Imagine a life where you have everything you need every time not depending on anyone or anything! That's how much God has blessed you.  Let's read our theme scripture again, this time in Amplified version: 2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so tha...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 1st NOVEMBER 2025 THE VICTORY IS WITH US Proverbs 21:31 The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with the LORD. (NIV) The Kingdom of God is forever victorious over its enemies. But these enemies are not in heaven. Victory rests with the Lord but the enemy is not directly fighting with the Lord.  The enemy is actually directly waring against the saints of God, the church. And thus victory over the enemy is with us not God.  Revelation 12:17 Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring —those who keep God’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus. When we pray to God it's important that we apply the understanding of His Word; the truth of the Gospel of Christ. If we keep asking God to give us victory over the enemy instead of living in the reality of our over him then we will not truly enjoy our victory. The Bible declares that God has ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 31st OCTOBER 2025 IT WILL END IN PRAISE Psalms 30:5 ...weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. (NIV) Challenges will always surface in a man's life but if he sticks to God those challenges end in praise. No challenge has the ability to pull down a man who refuses to be pulled down. Challenges are normal but to be brought down under them is abnormal.  Trouble always comes, weeping may stay for the night but rejoicing always come in the morning. There is that night in every man's life. That time when everything seems unclear. You try to find clarity and certainty going forward but to no avail. It is that time when everything seems to fail. That night is the time when you are alone in a situation. But it doesn't end there, morning follows after every night. Every night has a morning. No night without a morning. That is, no trouble, predicament or situation without an end. There is an end to ever...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 30th OCTOBER 2025 YOU ARE NOT A SPECTATOR Hebrews 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, (NIV) The great cloud of witnesses referred in this above scripture are the saints who have gone to heaven, our Fathers of faith; Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Peter, Paul, John and all the rest. The Bible says we are surrounded by them. They are our spectators, they cheer us on in our walk of faith. They are done with their work here on earth and are now spectators. But there are those on earth who have made themselves spectators. Life is not for lookers. You don't look, you participate. Get involved! Earth belongs to those on earth. You have a say in the earth. What you do or say has impact in this world. Don't be a spectator; don't watch. Take up a role and play ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 29th OCTOBER 2025 HE IS COMMITTED TO YOUR LIFE Philippians 1:6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. (NIV) God has greater desire for you to succeed in life than you could ever have. The good course you pursue in life are inspired in you by God. Because we don't see God with our optical eyes we don't know how much He is committed to our success. God wants you to succeed and He works to that effect. You might be faced with great challenges in your pursuits in life. And then you think of giving up or charting a different course. But He is always at work in you to bring to pass those good works He began. He is committed to your success.  Maybe you got a clear approval from God on the project you embarked on but midway you couldn't make any head-way. Don't get confused and wonder if God abandoned you. Just because there are challenges ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 28th OCTOBER 2025 USE HIS WORDS Jeremiah 1:9-10 Then the LORD reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, "I have put my words in your mouth. See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant." (NIV) God's word is your right and authority. Whenever He gives you His word concerning anything, that word is your authority over that thing. When He puts words in your mouth He has put power in your mouth. You can't be any more powerful than God's word in your mouth.  He wanted Prophet Jeremiah to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant. All He did was to reach out His hand and put His words in his mouth. By those words He appointed him (gave him authority) over nations and Kingdoms. His word is His appointment. When you receive God's word you receive an appointment (an authorisation) to carry out ...
