THE HELP IS HERE


Psalm 60:11 Give us help against the enemy; human help is worthless. (CEB)


This prayer was offered by the Psalmist many years back before Jesus came. The true answer to this prayer is the Holy Spirit. After Jesus' ascension He sent the Holy Spirit to the church. We don't pray "give us help against the enemy" today, no! He has given us help: the help is here.


The Holy Spirit came solely to live in and through a believer. He is the help of God to the church. What a Christian needs is not help but knowledge and understanding of the Person and Ministry of the Holy Spirit, who is the help of God. 


John 14:26 But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you.


This above scripture explains the Person and Ministry of the Holy Spirit. He is a Person in the Person of Jesus. He is Jesus in and with us today because He is here in His Name and answers to His Name. 

He has a Ministry to comfort, counsel, help, intercede, advocate, strengthen and be our standby (our extra man). What you need is to learn how to relate with Him, you don't need another help. Your help is here the Holy Spirit.


It takes the Word to relate with Him. When you give yourself to the Word your spirit will be atuned to His frequency and makes it conducive for Him to fulfill His Ministry to you. Hallelujah!


PRAYER 


Precious Holy Spirit thank You for being my ever present help always and in all things. I give myself to your voice today to be guided and led on the path I should walk. I have your help in all things because your voice leads me. Amen Hallelujah!

THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM Wisdom will begin to work in and through you and produce results when you fear the Lord. Yes wisdom begin with the fear of the Lord. BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 23rd DECEMBER 2023 REJOICE IN THE LORD ALWAYS Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! (NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. That calls for spiritual insight.  It takes spiritual insight to see what we got in the Lord and rejoice. When you are ask to rejoice over something it means that it holds significance and value. No nobody would ask you to rejoice over something that's not to your advantage. WISDOM DO GOOD We already know that wisdom is known for its deeds. Wisdom is no wisdom if it is not practiced. True wisdom is practicable.  One of the marks of wisdom is good deeds. A wise man does good. It takes loyalty to wisdom (God's Word) to do good. God's Word teaches us to do good. THE WONDERS OF WISDOM chapter 4 episode 1

TURN YOUR EARS TO WISDOM Everyone listens to a voice or voices. Voices comes to one's mind through three main sources. The flesh, satan and God.  The flesh would speak to you based on impulses, emotions and sight. Satan deceitfully speak to people through their flesh, desire and even perversely quoting the Bible. Then God speaks to us through His Word.  None of these voices forces you to listen to or obey it. The flesh cannot force you to listen and obey its voice, satan cannot, and God would not. Listening to any voice that comes to you is a choice.
