YOUR PRAYER IS EFFECTIVE

James 5:16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. (NIV)

What the above scripture mean is not to confess your wrong deeds to others but to acknowledge your wrongs towards others. That is, if you wronged a fellow Christian kindly acknowledge it to him, "I was wrong, I am sorry." That's what it means. Not confession of sins, confession of sin is to God only.

The later part of this above scripture is so inspiring, "The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." How encouraging this is to pray! A lot of times some Christians wonder if God even answered their prayers. God does answer prayers, but it's important for a Christian to recognize the power and effect of his own prayers. Your prayers are powerful and effective.

How you see your prayer is important because it determines how much results it will produce. Your prayer cannot do more than what you see it doing even though God answered the prayer. Recognize that your prayer is effective because you pray in His Name, and you are righteous.

The prayer of a righteous person is effective. And you are a righteous person. That's the requirement for an effective prayer. In Christ you have been made the righteousness of God. You don't struggle for righteousness. Just pray with this right mindset. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

I pray the right way; in His Name, in His Will and by His Spirit as a righteous person, and my prayer is powerful and effective all the time producing the results of what I pray. Amen Hallelujah!

THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM Wisdom will begin to work in and through you and produce results when you fear the Lord. Yes wisdom begin with the fear of the Lord. (NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. That calls for spiritual insight.  It takes spiritual insight to see what we got in the Lord and rejoice. When you are ask to rejoice over something it means that it holds significance and value. No nobody would ask you to rejoice over something that's not to your advantage. WISDOM DO GOOD We already know that wisdom is known for its deeds. Wisdom is no wisdom if it is not practiced. True wisdom is practicable.  One of the marks of wisdom is good deeds. TURN YOUR EARS TO WISDOM Everyone listens to a voice or voices. Voices comes to one's mind through three main sources. The flesh, satan and God.  The flesh would speak to you based on impulses, emotions and sight. Satan deceitfully speak to people through their flesh, desire and even perversely quoting the Bible. Then God speaks to us through His Word.  None of these voices forces you to listen to or obey it. The flesh cannot force you to listen and obey its voice, satan cannot, and God would not. Listening to any voice that comes to you is a choice.
