FIGHT TO FINISH

Proverbs 24:16 for though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again, but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes. (NIV)

It's only the fight that you fight till the end that you have a chance of winning. When boxers engaged in a competitive fight they don't win if they quit at the first or second round, and they don't lose if they were defeated in the first or second round. If you fell once or twice or even more you are not defeated if you are willing to continue the fight to the end. In the battles of life you must be ready to fight to finish. 

A righteous person may fall many times but rises again. Falling is not a defeat if one is willing to rise up and fight to finish. We all have our fights, and it will continue until we depart this world. 

Apostle Paul tells us to fight. He says "fight the good fight of the faith." 
1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

To fight means there is an opposition who is confronting or fighting you. Apostle Paul said fight back. Don't be a weakling. Humility is not being a weakling. Fight! 
The circumstances and forces of life, and the evil of men and demons will try to pull you down, don't go soft, don't petty yourself, fight back! 

Apostle Paul had his experiences. So when he says fight he knows exactly what he is saying. He had his oppositions, troubles, hardships and trials.
2 Corinthians 1:8-10 We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, about the troubles we experienced in the province of Asia. We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired of life itself. Indeed, we felt we had received the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us again. On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us,

At the end of his life's journey Apostle Paul boldly said "I have fought the good fight." He couldn't say that unless he had records of his fights and victories. Record your fights and victories.
2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

You will only be able to say like Apostle Paul "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith" if you fight now and fight to finish. You don't win if you don't finish the fight. Don't give up fighting for your dreams, ministry, academic, wife, husband, children, marriage and others. A fight is beautiful when you win, so win the fight of faith and lay hold of the blessings of eternal life.

CONFESSION

Though I fall many times in the course of the fight I rise up and stand stronger because God is able to make me stand. I fight the good fight of faith to stay established, rooted and strong, and I fight to finish as I lay hold on the blessings of eternal life, enjoying the victories and blessings of Christ. Amen!

THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM Wisdom will begin to work in and through you and produce results when you fear the Lord. Yes wisdom begin with the fear of the Lord. (NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. That calls for spiritual insight.  It takes spiritual insight to see what we got in the Lord and rejoice. When you are ask to rejoice over something it means that it holds significance and value. No nobody would ask you to rejoice over something that's not to your advantage. WISDOM DO GOOD We already know that wisdom is known for its deeds. Wisdom is no wisdom if it is not practiced. True wisdom is practicable.  One of the marks of wisdom is good deeds. THE WONDERS OF WISDOM chapter 4 episode 1

TURN YOUR EARS TO WISDOM Everyone listens to a voice or voices. Voices comes to one's mind through three main sources. The flesh, satan and God.  The flesh would speak to you based on impulses, emotions and sight. Satan deceitfully speak to people through their flesh, desire and even perversely quoting the Bible. Then God speaks to us through His Word.  None of these voices forces you to listen to or obey it. The flesh cannot force you to listen and obey its voice, satan cannot, and God would not. Listening to any voice that comes to you is a choice. Many voices may come to your ears but you would choose which to turn your ears to you.  You would hear voice of fear, doubt, failing, uncertainty, faith, assurance, victory, riches but deliberately turn your ears to what you want to hear.
