FAITH ALWAYS WORK

Matthew 17:19-20 Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, "Why couldn’t we drive it out?" He replied, "Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ’Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." (NIV)

While Jesus was on the mountain with Peter, James and John a man brought his son who was demon-possessed to others of his disciples, they tried to cast out the demon but it didn't work. When Jesus came he rebuke the demon, it left the boy and he was healed immediately. 

His disciples asked him privately why they couldn't drive out the demon. Jesus gave them a remarkable response that's still very instructive today. Matthew 17:20 He replied, "Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ’Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."

This implies that faith always work. He said to them in essence "you don't have faith that's why you couldn't drive it out. If you had faith it would work." It means faith always work. If it didn't work then it is not faith.

You would hear a fellow say "I have faith but it didn't work, I know I have faith but I don't know why it didn't work." The disciples thought the same too until Jesus told them they did not have faith. 

Faith is acting on God's word. It is doing things that God would do, and it happens exactly as God would have it if you act the God-kind of faith. It is more than being confident. It is acting on God's reality.

CONFESSION

I have the God-kind of faith. My faith is alive and active because the word of God is in my heart and mouth, and as I speak forth situations and circumstances are subject to my words and I have the results of what I say. Hallelujah!

THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM Wisdom will begin to work in and through you and produce results when you fear the Lord. Yes wisdom begin with the fear of the Lord. WISDOM DO GOOD We already know that wisdom is known for its deeds. Wisdom is no wisdom if it is not practiced. True wisdom is practicable.  One of the marks of wisdom is good deeds. A wise man does good. It takes loyalty to wisdom (God's Word) to do good. God's Word teaches us to do good. TURN YOUR EARS TO WISDOM Everyone listens to a voice or voices. Voices comes to one's mind through three main sources. The flesh, satan and God.  The flesh would speak to you based on impulses, emotions and sight. Satan deceitfully speak to people through their flesh, desire and even perversely quoting the Bible. Then God speaks to us through His Word.  None of these voices forces you to listen to or obey it. The flesh cannot force you to listen and obey its voice, satan cannot, and God would not.
