Chapter 10 -- Love is Perfection

Love is an act of perfection. Anyone who lives in love lives in perfection. Love is the greatest, love is the highest, love is perfection. Love is a perfect act. To act in love is to act perfect.

1 John 4:16-19 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. We love because he first loved us.

God Himself is love. That already says that love is perfect because God who is love is perfect. He expresses His love for us in perfection. The Love He has for us is what we express in perfection. The word says when we live in love we live in God, in this love is made complete (fulfilled) among us. That is, fulfilled its purpose among us. When the love of God is expressed through us to others it is complete (perfect, fulfilled), because that's His dream for us; to be the expression of His love. So, what is perfect love?

Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. The commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not covet," and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself." Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. First the word states that 'you owe everyone love' this means you should not find anyone you cannot or should not love.
