YOU ARE THE SEED OF ABRAHAM


Isaiah 53:10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. (KJV)


Isaiah speaking prophetically about Christ's suffering and death for the sins of mankind spoke of what will ensue from it. He said "he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days." The church is the seed of Christ, and through the church He is prolonging His days in the earth. Christ is still very much on earth through the church.


Another aspect of being the seed of Christ is that the church and Christ is the seed of Abraham. When He says "He shall see His seed." It means an extension of Himself, not another like Him. 


The seed of Abraham God referred when He spoke to Abraham was of physical and spiritual. Isaac was his physical seed and Christ the spiritual. And this Christ is actually Jesus and the church.

Galatians 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.


Christ is the seed of Abraham. And every one of us who has received Christ as Lord is the seed of Abraham. 

Galatians 3:28-29 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.


Heirs according to the promise? There are so many benefits of being the seed of Abraham and one of such is being heir of the promise. And there are many benefits of the promise, and one of such is that you are heir of the world.

Romans 4:13 For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.


Being the seed of Abraham you are heir of the world, that means you own the world. Think about that! How could you lack when you own the world? 

Renew your mind with these things. Live consciously as the seed of Abraham, let this dominate your thoughts, words and actions.


CONFESSION


I am the seed of Christ and through me He prolongs His days on earth. In Christ, I am Abraham's seed and heir according to the promise to be the heir of the world. I have taken my place and inheritance and began to reign, I live conscious that I own the world, it shows not only in my words by also in my deeds, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

(NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
