TRAMPLE UPON THEM

Luke 10:19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. (NIV)

The Lord has given each and every one of us the authority (legal right) and power to trample upon satan and his works. We have the legal right to destroy the devil's work using the Name of Jesus. 

The Lord Jesus didn't say He will trample the devil or works for us. He said He has given us the power to do so, and that satan's power cannot harm us. We shouldn't sit around and watch satan run our lives, families, cities and nations. Your first reaction when you find satan oppressing people or running a city should be provocation. Be spiritually provoked against satan and His works; express holy anger against oppression, injustice, evil, sickness and the manipulation of darkness. That's the first step to working in God's power against the power of the enemy. 

When the Israelites were about to enter their promised land and take possession, God told them to destroy the gods of the people in those lands. Those gods were evil and were not gods. The Lord gave Israel the authority to destroy them all.
Deuteronomy 7:5 This is what you are to do to them: Break down their altars, smash their sacred stones, cut down their Asherah poles and burn their idols in the fire.

These idols were a source of boldness for the people that lived in that land, if they didn't destroy them they would have confidence against the people of God, and would even convert them to their idols. God said destroy their idols.

The Bible tells us that the Lord Jesus came to this world to destroy the devil's work. The only work of the devil is sin and its resultant effects; poverty, bondage, sickness, disease, oppression and the likes.
1 John 3:8 The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.

And He did destroyed the devil's works. Today He charge us to continue the work and has equipped and empowered us to do just that.
He told us exactly what to do in Matthew 10:8, "Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give."

We all should vehemently go about this; we should go about doing good and healing all who are under the oppression of the devil, and God is with in us and with us, just as He was with the Lord Jesus. 
He has given us the power to trample upon satan and his works. Don't start asking for power but learn from the Word of God how to use power. His all powerful power is already inside you, use it through the words of your mouth. Use your words to destroy the works of devil, trample him and his work in the Name of Jesus. 

PRAYER

I break down the altars and systems of satan in and around the world and the lives of men. I bring down his deception in families and in our societies. I neutralize his efforts to put men in bondage, today in the Name of Jesus Christ I destroy the works of darkness in every city under heaven, in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
