BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 31st MARCH 2024 WALK IN HIS FREEDOM 2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. (NIV) God Almighty is the Holy Spirit and where this Holy Spirit is, there is freedom. And the Bible declares in 1 Corinthians 6:19 "Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;" This is what Christianity is all about; housing and expressing the Holy Spirit. One of the very things He brought to us and brought us into is His freedom.  God wants you to live in, experience and share His freedom. He set us free from the power of sin, satan and the world. And He wants us to remain free. Galatians 5:1 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. The purpose He set us free is freedom. He wants us free. Freedom from needl...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 30th MARCH 2024 HE FAVOURS YOU TO PROSPER Leviticus 26:9 "’I will look on you with favor and make you fruitful and increase your numbers, and I will keep my covenant with you. (NIV) To be fruitful and increase in whatever you do is propserity, and it takes favour to get there. And God says "’I will look on you with favor and make you fruitful and increase your numbers, and I will keep my covenant with you." Some Christians still have question about prosperity, and that shows their lack of knowledge of the truth. Because reading through the scripture you would find that it is only God who gives and sustains one's prosperity. All the men who walked with God and became great; Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, David and others were prosperous and God was responsible for it.  It's important to understand that money is not the definition of propserity. Money is just one fruit of prosperity. Prosperity is all round well...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 29th MARCH 2024 SEEK ADVICE Proverbs 11:14 For lack of guidance a nation falls, but victory is won through many advisers. (NIV) Some people are too proud to seek advice from someone else. Most especially when they think they are bigger than those around them. You hear them say "how can I, a whole me seek advice from that nobody?" Nothing is wrong asking your son for an advice concerning an issue, he could give you an advice that would work.  Wisdom is not in the size of a body, one's age, experience, social status, academic attainment, wealth or any such thing. Wisdom is Divine; it could work through anybody. The Bible says in our theme scripture "For lack of guidance a nation falls, but victory is won through many advisers." This is one of the very reasons people fail in life. Too proud to ask for some piece of advice. You set out a plan and go about it headlong without reviewing it with the thought of some...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 28th MARCH 2024 NOTHING SUCCEED AGAINST YOU Isaiah 54:16-17 "See, it is I who created the blacksmith who fans the coals into flame and forges a weapon fit for its work. And it is I who have created the destroyer to wreak havoc; no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me," declares the LORD. (NIV) I love God's expression in the above scriptures, He said "See, it is I who created the blacksmith who fans the coals into flame and forges a weapon fit for its work. And it is I who have created the destroyer to wreak havoc;" In other words I created these people who forms weapons and I didn't create them with the ability to manufacture a weapon that can destroy you. Therefore, "no weapon forged against you will prevail..." Glory to God! Again notice, He didn't ...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 27th MARCH 2024 CALL THINGS INTO BEING Romans 4:17 As it is written: "I have made you a father of many nations." He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed —the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not. (NIV) God said to Abraham at the time He had no child, He said "I have made you a father of many nations." Did you notice God didn't say 'I will make you a father of many nations." But that "I have made you..."? At a time he had no child and was already old. God calls things into being.  God doesn't call things that are as though they were not. no. He calls things they are not as though they were. In other words He calls things into being. Where a particular thing doesn't exist He calls it into existence. And you are just like your heavenly father.  Through the Word you can actually function like your heavenly father. If you are in need...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 26th MARCH 2024 GOD HAS GIVEN YOU ALL THINGS Romans 8:32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all —how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? (NIV) When we pray it is not because we want to force God to do anything for us. When we pray it is not because we don't already have it done. It is not because we do not recognize what we got, but to bring into this material world what we recognize and are conscious of.  God gave His One and only Son. That's everything. Anyone who did that couldn't or wouldn't withhold anything else. Having given us His Son who is the Heir to all things He has given us everything and made us heir of all things.  God has graciously given us all things. They are in our spirit in the spirit. We only need to bring them into our material world. That's where faith comes in. It takes faith to bring forth here. First of all, faith is seeing now what i...

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS

BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 25th MARCH 2024 LET GOD JUSTIFY YOU Romans 8:33-34 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died —more than that, who was raised to life —is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. If you ever found yourself in a situation where people accused you falsely you would understand what it means to be justified. For instance, something got missing at your workplace and you are accused of stealing it. Even though your accusers had no concrete evidence they were able to convince people that you stole it. How you would wish everyone could see your heart!  In this life we not only have satan as our accuser. There are also human beings who have trained and convinced themselves to accuse and condemn us. Thanks to God the Bible says it is God who justifies. It doesn't matter who and how many people accuse you God will jus...
