IT'S NOT ABOUT GOD'S ABILITY

Mark 9:22-23 "It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him. But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us." "’If you can’?" said Jesus. "Everything is possible for one who believes." (NIV)

A man brought his son who was possessed by a demon to Jesus. He explained to Jesus how that the demon has often thrown the boy into fire or water to kill him and then he said "But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us." Jesus response was "’If you can’?" said Jesus. "Everything is possible for one who believes." - Mark 9:23.

The man was looking at Jesus' ability to heal the boy. Jesus was looking for the man's faith. It is not about God's ability but man's faith. Jesus said "Everything is possible for one who believe."
The question is not about God's ability or willingness. When people find themselves in trouble or even sickness they want to be sure if God is willing to help them, some at times even question His ability. But every possibility has to do with man's faith. If your faith meets the demand then it is possible. 

If you have a situation that you want to change don't seek assurance of God's ability to do it but your faith. Look within you how much faith you can stir up. But you can only stir up faith in proportion to how much of God's word you have deposited in your heart. Get the word into you, put it in your mouth; it's an active faith. That's the ability you require to cause your desired changes. 

PRAYER

Thank You Father for your Word that always produce faith and ability in me. Through my faith proclamation I bring my desired changes to pass. Through my faith-filled words anything is possible for me, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

(NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. That calls for spiritual insight.  It takes spiritual insight to see what we got in the Lord and rejoice. When you are ask to rejoice over something it means that it holds significance and value. Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
