THE WISDOM OF THE RIGHTEOUS


Luke 1:17 And he will go on before the Lord, in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the parents to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous —to make ready a people prepared for the Lord." (NIV)


An Angel speaking to Zechariah about the birth of John the Baptist and his ministry said many things and one of them was "the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous." His ministry would turn the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous.


The wisdom of the righteous is a mindset of the righteous that pre-dictated their thoughts, words and actions. The mindset of the righteous is a mind which know, understand and live in the will of God. It is a mind dominated by the word (will) of God. The disobedient are the unbelievers. If they listen to the word of God understand and accept it they would have the mindset of the righteous. 


The wisdom or mindset of the righteous is the prerequisite for godliness; expressing rightousness, kindness, goodness, grace, favour and blessings to your world. Without this mindset you cannot walk in the righteousness or will of God. It is a requirement for living a successful life. 


The wisdom of the righteous in action is foolishness to the world. But it is God's power; an ability to do or cause changes. Wisdom is an ability. It's an inward force given vent mentally and eventually outwardly. 

When you got born again you received the mind of Christ; the mind of the righteous. A mind fashioned to walk in God's will. 

1 Corinthians 2:16 for, "Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?" But we have the mind of Christ.


Give attention to your mind; relate and act with the mind of Christ. It is a divine tool given you to walk in God's will.


CONFESSION


I have received the wisdom (mindset) of the righteous; the mind of Christ. I have and function with the mind of Christ. With the mind of Christ I seamlessly walk in God's will at all times, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

(NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. That calls for spiritual insight.  It takes spiritual insight to see what we got in the Lord and rejoice. When you are ask to rejoice over something it means that it holds significance and value. Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. The commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not covet," and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."
