THE BLESSING OF THE LORD


Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. (KJV)


The blessing of the Lord is an ability. It is a divine unction or glory that causes whatever one does to prosper and multiply. The blessing is not riches. Riches is not the blessing. The blessing makes one rich; riches is a fruit of a cultivated blessing. The blessing you do not cultivate or harness will not bring you riches. Every child of God is blessed but not every child of God is rich materially. Because when God blessed you He expected you to harness riches from it.


Deuteronomy 8:18 But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.


God gives you the ability to produce wealth. When you received the Holy Spirit you received the ability to produce as much wealth as you want. The ability is in you, you are responsible to produce your wealth. The blessing of the Lord makes rich; that is, it has the potency to make you rich. That means you have the potential to become as rich as you want. If you don't understand this you will be waiting for God to make you rich. He says He has given you the ability to produce wealth. 


The Bible says He blessed Abraham. And Abraham took advantage of it to produce wealth.

Genesis 24:35 THE LORD HAS BLESSED MY MASTER ABUNDANTLY, and HE HAS BECOME WEALTHY. He has given him sheep and cattle, silver and gold, male and female servants, and camels and donkeys.


Did you noticed the underlined portion? GOD BLESSED. ABRAHAM BECAME. It is your responsibility to BECOME wealthy through the blessing of the Lord. Identify God's blessing in your life and harness it to become rich. 


PRAYER


Father I recognize and acknowledge that you have blessed me; your blessing is upon me, my home, business, marriage, ministry and all things. I take advantage of the power of your blessing to become rich. Through your blessing in my life I produce riches with my business, job, career and every endeavour, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

(NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. That calls for spiritual insight.  It takes spiritual insight to see what we got in the Lord and rejoice. When you are ask to rejoice over something it means that it holds significance and value. Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
