MORE THAN TWO THOUSAND YEARS AGO


1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (NIV)


When a Christian is faced with a challenge and wants a change he prays to God hoping that He would do something right away. When conflict comes up at his workplace he want God to give him victory over it. But God already gave us victory over every conflict more than two thousand years ago through the Lord Jesus Christ. And it is valid for today and for all time. 


The victory we got in Christ is a continuous victory; it is a once and for all time victory which continue over times and circumstances. We are as victorious today as we were more than two thousand years ago when God raised us up with Jesus from the dead. 


Acts 2:24 But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him.


When God raised Jesus from the dead the Bible says we were raised together with Him. Death could not keep its hold on Him, and we were in Him. Death could not keep its hold on us. We were victorious over death, devil, hell and the world more than two thousand years ago, and if we were victorious then we are still victory now because Jesus did not return to death. 


The victory you are wishing for today is two thousand years over due. The contention and opposition you may be struggling with are two thousand years old defeated. What you need is not victory but a knowledge of the victory that is already given you. In this Kingdom we sustain victory with our words. You've got to learn the Kingdom-words or truths and apply them. 


CONFESSION


Precious Father, thank You for given me victory through my Lord Jesus Christ. Today I live in the light and reality of my victory in Christ over satan, hell, darkness, sickness and the world, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

(NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. That calls for spiritual insight.  It takes spiritual insight to see what we got in the Lord and rejoice. When you are ask to rejoice over something it means that it holds significance and value. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. (NIV) We should not have offense we cannot forgive. Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. The commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not covet," and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."
