A FALSE PROPHET



Revelation 2:20-22 Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols. I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling. So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways.


The Spirit of God through Apostle John writing to the church at Thyatira said "...I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet..." She is right there in the Church. She was at the church at Thyatira and tolerated her. She is in the church even as a leader. She teaches and by her teaching leads God's people astray. Jezebel in the church as a teacher! How did she get into the church? The Bible says they tolerate her. She came in deceitfully, by her cunning she outsmart them. They gave her a chance, they gave her the lead, they tolerated her.



SHE CREPT INTO THE CHURCH


The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:22 "reject every kind of evil." But the church at Thyatira did not reject Jezebel's evil. And she crept into the church.

Jude 1:4 For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.


There are these kind of people in the church today, they are Jezebel the false prophet. Every false prophet has the Jezebel spirit. And they manifest her contrary ways and characters. They slipped secretly into the church through their craftiness, and deceitfully get into a position of leadership and began teaching things that ought not to be taught in the House of God.

They pervert the Grace of God into an opportunity for immortality. They do not submit to the sovereign Lordship of Jesus. They spread their cunning teaching and by it breeds immortality in the church. Their end has been decreed and they cannot escape it.

Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
