PRAISE GOD FOR VICTORY
Psalms 124:6 Praise be to the LORD, who has not let us be torn by their teeth. (NIV)
Looking back to this year and seeing all the victories we got, the opposition we won over we can only praise God. Running the course this year and coming to the end of the year is grace. Praise is what we should do.
It might look normal to get this far but it is not. If you could see what the enemy planned against you many times during this year and yet you are here celebrating, then you would sing praises to God. You aren't here because there were no plot to take your life, end your business, break your marriage but because the Lord was on your side.
Psalms 124:2-6 if the LORD had not been on our side when people attacked us, they would have swallowed us alive when their anger flared against us; the flood would have engulfed us, the torrent would have swept over us, the raging waters would have swept us away. Praise be to the LORD, who has not let us be torn by their teeth.
The difference is that the Lord was on your side ensuring your continuous victory.
We came out victorious. We came out top in another year, a year of the prolific church because we trust in His Name.
Psalms 124:8 Our help is in the name of the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.
He gave us His Name to live in, live by and live for. So we shall praise His Name forever and ever. And in the coming year we shall continue in His Name. Live in His Name, live by His Name, live for His Name and win in His Name. His Name alone is above all names. Hallelujah!
PRAYER
Precious Father I recognize that you saw me through this year. It is not because my enemies were silent. It is not by my strength or power that I prevailed, but by your Spirit. I acknowledge that my help is in your Name today and forever, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
