FIX YOUR THOUGHTS ON JESUS

Hebrews 3:1 Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, whom we acknowledge as our apostle and high priest. (NIV)

One of the reasons some Christians do not experience the presence of Jesus and the blessings of His Gospel is their thought pattern. The Word gives us a thinking pattern because only then can we experience the full blessings of the Gospel of Christ.

Part of our theme scripture says "...fix your thoughts on Jesus..."
This is not a mere mental acknowledgement. But a fixed mental picture which stays on one's mind such that it influences or controls Him. This is what the Bible mean when it says fix your thoughts on Jesus. When your thoughts are fixed on Jesus it conditions your mind to give expression to the reality of your spirit. Your mind is the door to your spirit, and of course also from your spirit.

What actually controls or predetermines your outward expression and the quality of your life is your mind not your spirit. If everything you are in your spirit were fully expressed outwardly without restraints you would be amazed at the calibre of being that you are. Your mind is the door of your spirit, and ultimately dictates how much of your spirit reality is expressed outwardly.

The Lord Jesus lives in your heart but until you fix the thoughts of Him on your mind you will not experience His full presence and the full blessings of the Gospel. How much success, victory and prosperity you enjoy depends on this.

If you were faced with challenge or unprecedented predicament all you require is to fix your eyes on Jesus. If you were being persecuted or enduring trials your eyes should be fixed on Jesus the pioneer and perfecter of your faith. Only this guarantees your victory.
Hebrews 12:2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

CONFESSION
My thoughts are fixed on the Lord Jesus, my eyes are fixed on Him. I look away from everything else unto Him the pioneer and perfecter of my faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and now sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hallelujah!
