HE REWARDS

Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. (NIV)

Doing the work of the Kingdom is a privilege, it's exciting and rewarding. Even though reward is not our actual motivation for doing God's work reward is honourable. God does reward. He is a rewarder. And He rewards faith.

What God actually reward is faith. Our work in the Kingdom is actually a work of faith. Much more than the work accomplished is the faith which accomplished it. Every act of faith shall be rewarded.

In an act of faith Peter and the other disciples left everything to follow Jesus. One time Peter said to the Lord "we have left everything to follow you." He was saying in essence "what are we going to gain for following you?" 
Mark 10:28-30 Then Peter spoke up, "We have left everything to follow you!" "Truly I tell you," Jesus replied, "no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age: homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields —along with persecutions —and in the age to come eternal life.

In this present world we shall receive abundant reward earthly wise, along with persecutions. And hereafter eternal life. That is, living in God's place forever. You see, there is so much for us. What we are doing is not unnoticed. God is not unjust to overlook your labour of love. 

1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

CONFESSION

I know my labour in the Lord is not in vain. God is a just God, and He rewards my labour of love. He is a rewarder of faith. And He rewards my every act of faith not only in this world but hereafter Eternal life. Amen!

(NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. That calls for spiritual insight.  It takes spiritual insight to see what we got in the Lord and rejoice. When you are ask to rejoice over something it means that it holds significance and value. Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
