NOT PLEASANT AT THE TIME

Hebrews 12:11-12 No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees. (NIV)

The Bible says our hardship is discipline. Hebrews 12:7 Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined by their father?
And that the hardships and troubles are momentary. 2 Corinthians 4:17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.

These hardships which are discipline or training are not pleasant, but are necessary for upliftment and promotion to a higher level of glory and grace. It's amazing how God sees things and how the Word communicates them. At times we are faced with troubles and hardships, but God says they are discipline and training which are for a moment but ordained to produce eternal glory for us.

You might be going through unpleasant and painful circumstance right now, but don't worry, later on, it will produce a harvest of righteousness and peace for you. Therefore, be strengthened, face it and win.

Every training or discipline is for a purpose. God trains us to be fit to handle assignments or responsibilities. When you are being trained by God look forward to your next and greater assignment. He has a reason; He trains you to bless others. So don't let the unpleasant trouble which is for a moment overshadow the glory that is being produced in you and for you. Endure hardship as discipline.

PRAYER

Precious Father thank You for the hardships, challenges and circumstances you allow my way to train and make me strong and better fit for greater works. I endure hardship as training, though unpleasant at the moment, however, it is producing a harvest of righteousness and peace for me, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

(NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
