YOU HAVE THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

Ephesians 1:19-20 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, (NIV)

What Apostle Paul communicate here is very clear. He didn't mince words. God's incomparably great power is for us who believe. That same power with which He raised the Lord Jesus from the dead. If this is true, and of course it is, what then could ever be beyond you? Nothing is outside the jurisdiction of your power. 

It is not humility for a Christian to say "I have no power, it is God alone who has power." That confession is contrary to the truth of the Gospel. The above scripture just told us that God has given us His incomparably great power. How could a Christian say I have no power? That's not humility. It is making God out to be a liar. In Luke 10:19 the Lord Jesus said "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you."

What a Christian lack is not power but accurate knowledge of the truth and reality of the Gospel of Christ. The truth of the Gospel is, all of God is in you, including all of His power through the Holy Spirit who lives in you. 
Romans 8:11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.

The Holy Spirit not only give life to your mortal but is in oneness with your Spirit, and your body His home. You have the power of the Spirit of God residing in you. Give expression to His incomparably great power by thinking and speaking as God would. 

CONFESSION

Through the Holy Spirit God's incomparably great power resides in me. My spirit is in oneness with the Holy Spirit whom I have from God. Through Him the fullness of God dwells permanently in me. Through my thoughts and words I release power, bringing changes to situation and circumstances in my world, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

(NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. That calls for spiritual insight.  It takes spiritual insight to see what we got in the Lord and rejoice. When you are ask to rejoice over something it means that it holds significance and value. Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. The commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not covet," and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."
