STAND FIRM AND REMAIN STANDING


1 Corinthians 10:12 So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall! (NIV)


Having stood the test of time and standing firm in the faith, a lot still contend with the Christian. As a Christian standing firm is not just enough you must also remain standing. Things will always come up that will try to pull you down but you must maintain your stand.


The walk of faith is not a week or two. It's a continuous walk through life. If you are standing firm today don't become complacent. Rather take heed, be alert and diligent to remain standing. It's not those who started well that wins but those who end well. 


Anyone who stand tall in the faith or in any circle of life draws attention both positive and negative. Some people's primary aim is to bring him down. And one of the things that makes a person vulnerable is pride. Don't allow pride in your life.


Yes, celebrate your walk in the faith, your victory, success, deeds of faith but don't become conceited and complacent. And don't let pride enter you. Be diligent, be alert, watch and pray and remain standing firm in the faith.


PRAYER


Father I thank You that Christ is my faith and the solid rock on which I stand. I stand firm in the faith and in my walk in the Word unmovable and unshakable. After the storm I will remain standing strong, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

(NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
