YOUR WORDS ARE PROPERTIES


Matthew 12:36-37 But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned." (NIV)


Your words are tangible living things in the spirit-realm which are exactly what you said. Whenever you speak you bring forth tangible living things in the spirit. These words are properties associated with you in the spirit. Every word you speak carries your label or identity. In the spirit realm we don't get confused saying 'whose word is this?' Every word clearly display the name or identity of the speaker.


If you had a dog or other pet, and it went out to destroy something, the owner would hold you responsible. Because the dog or pet is yours. The same is true of your word. Your word is your property. Your word can either destroy or build, make or mar. If your words build you would be commended, if it destroy you will be held responsible.


The Bible says in Matthew 12:36, But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken.


Empty words are words that don't build or make. They are destructive words. Why would anyone give account of the destructive words he had spoken? It's because your word is your property. If it strays and cause havoc you are responsible. You should tame your words by taming your tongue.


James 3:7-8,10 All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and sea creatures are being tamed and have been tamed by mankind, but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be.


No man can by himself tame his tongue but through the Holy Spirit he can. So it is important you mind what comes out of your mouth. Don't say it's your mouth you can say anything you like. No! What you say doesn't affect you only but people and things around you. And you will give account to God about those words. So use your words rightly; speak words of praise, wisdom and blessings always. 


PRAYER


Thank You Lord for given me a well-instructed tongue. Through the Holy Spirit I choose my words; words which builds, strengthens, helps and blesses the hearers, bringing praise and glory to God, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
