YOU ARE DEARLY LOVED


Colossians 3:12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. (NIV)


Knowing how much God loves you gives self-value. Some do not really understand the concept of God's love. When we say God loves us to them it's more like a religious talk. But it's far from that. It is an actual love based on His nature, relationship and emotion. God direct His emotions toward you.


The Bible declares that you are dearly loved by God. That means He loves you heartily; He loves you with everything He got. He chose you, made you holy and love you dearly. You are the object of His love. He can't love you less. And now He wants everyone to see your beauty as the object of His love. So He says to you "clothe yourself with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience."


Compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience are marks of one touched by God's love. When you experience His endearing love it would result in compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience towards others. You not only experience His love you also express it in compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.


So walk in the love God has brought you into. Esteem yourself as one dearly loved by God and express the same to your world. 


CONFESSION


I am God's chosen, holy and dearly loved. Therefore I clothe myself with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience towards others as an extension of His love to them. Amen.

(NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. The commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not covet," and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."
