CALLED INTO FELLOWSHIP

1 Corinthians 1:9 God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. (NIV)

The fellowship refers in this above verse of the scriptures is not only referring to fellowship, communion and communication but also union and oneness. God actually called us into oneness with Christ. And He is faithful to see us walk in that oneness.

1 Corinthians 6:17 But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit.

We are united with the Lord as One Spirit having received Him as our Lord. Everything we are is in the light of our oneness with Him. In our oneness everything He is we are. We are rightous because He is. We are prosperous because He is. We are blessed because He is. 

Our oneness with Him extends to partnership. We are partners with Him in the work of the Kingdom. He initiated the work of salvation, we continue the work of salvation and extends it to our world. The fruitfulness of this work depends on our fellowship with Him.

1 John 1:3 We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.

Our communion is with the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. We commune with Him through His Word and Spirit. 

CONFESSION

The Father has called me into fellowship, communion and communication with His Son Jesus Christ. And through my fellowship with the Father and Jesus His Son I abound in the work of the Kingdom bringing many to join the fellowship of the Father and the Son. Amen.

(NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. That calls for spiritual insight.  It takes spiritual insight to see what we got in the Lord and rejoice. When you are ask to rejoice over something it means that it holds significance and value. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. (NIV) We should not have offense we cannot forgive. Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. The commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not covet," and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."
