ALIVE AND ACTIVE

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. (NIV)

The Word of God lives. It is a living being; it is God. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

When we received the Word into our heart it lives in our heart. The human heart is the natural habitation of God's Word. For example, it cannot live in a tree. The Word is alive and active in our heart. The activeness of the Word is seen physically when we put the Word to work by meditating, talking and acting it. 

It is only the Word that has the ability to penetrate the soul, spirit, joints and marrow, and judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. This simply means that the Word has absolute dominion over the entire human person. All we need do is to avail ourselves to the Word. It has the inherent ability to change our entire life and the circumstances of our existence.

The beauty of it is that we have been born of this Word which lives and endures forever. 1 Peter 1:23 For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.

The Word is alive, active and effective in and through us, and thus makes us alive, active and effective. This means nothing that come in contact with us or belongs to us should die, be inactive or ineffective. Everything that has to do with us should be alive, active and effective, producing lasting results. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

I have been born again of the imperishable Word of God which lives and endures forever. Consequently I am alive, active and effective, and everything that connects or concerns me are alive, active and effective, producing lasting results, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

(NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
