CONTINUE IN WHAT YOU HAVE LEARNT

2 Timothy 3:14 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, (NIV)

One of the reasons some fall in the race is abandoning what they have learned. The reason some never have the Word produce results in their lives is because they sway from their conviction. 

Mind you, trouble would come to you because of the Word. When you receive the Word temptation comes to test your true conviction of the Word. Matthew 13:20-21 The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away.

Untill trouble comes you cannot say that you have taken root. If you remain standing after the trouble then you have truly taken root. Things would happen to contradict the Word you have received but you will have to maintain your conviction. That's exactly what Apostle Paul said to Timothy. 2 Timothy 3:14 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it,

Continue in the truth of the Gospel which you have learned and become convinced of irrespective of what you feel, see or hear. Do not allow the contradicting situations around you affect the Word you have become convinced of. In other words, don't change your conviction because of your situation. 

PRAYER

Precious Father, thank You for your infallible Word. It is to me what You said it is. As I continue in the reality of the Gospel which I have learned and become convinced of may it produce results for me, dispelling every opposition, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

(NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
