ABLE TO MAKE YOU WISE

2 Timothy 3:15 and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. (NIV)

The Holy Scriptures (the Bible) makes you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. There is so much to this above scripture. The Holy Scriptures here simply means the whole Bible; the entire teaching and message of the Bible. It says it has the ability to make you wise for salvation. But what does that mean?

There are people who still do not understand salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. They would say "I was not there when Adam disobeyed God. I did not live before Jesus died for sin, it was not for my sin." 
They just do not understand what salvation in Christ Jesus is. It's like what Nicodemus asked Jesus. John 3:4 "How can someone be born when they are old?" Nicodemus asked. "Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!"

But when one gives attention to the Holy Scriptures to be taught by the Holy Spirit He become wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. In other words, he will understand what salvation through faith in Christ Jesus means. 

All sinned and fell short of the glory of God. 
Romans 3:23-24 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

Salvation is found in no one else. Acts 4:12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved."
Acts 13:38-39 "Therefore, my friends, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. Through him everyone who believes is set free from every sin, a justification you were not able to obtain under the law of Moses.
 
Understanding the Holy Scriptures makes you wise unto salvation that is by faith in Christ Jesus, and then you won't be asking "did Jesus have to die?" Yes, He had to die so that you could live.

CONFESSION

The Holy Scriptures makes me wise for the salvation that is by faith in Christ Jesus. He was delivered over to death for my sins and was raised to life for my justification, therefore I am freely justified in His Name. Amen.

(NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
