SHARPEN THE EDGE

Ecclesiastes 10:10 If the ax is dull, And one does not sharpen the edge, Then he must use more strength; But wisdom brings success. (NKJV)

In this world only bad things happens by default, good things seldom. Good is produced through intentional and consistent efforts. You will have to sharpen the edge of your ax constantly in order to make a meaningful difference in this world.

Our theme says in Ecclesiastes 10:10, "If the ax is dull, And one does not sharpen the edge, Then he must use more strength; But wisdom brings success." 
Yet even more strength doesn't guarantee success only wisdom does. 

What is your edge in this world? Your edge is your highest advantage, gift, talent, ability or prospect. This could be your business, job, calling, ministry etc. You get it? Anything with which you want to use to make a difference in this world is your egde. Sharpen it. 

One of the ways you can sharpen your edge is to train up yourself in the way you should go and as you go you won't depart from it. Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

You not only train up your children train up yourself too. There is a way you should go in your business, pursuit, ministry, career and whatever it is. Don't just go anyhow or any way. Don't go because others are going that way. No! Train up yourself, sharpen your own egde and make your own success. 

PRAYER

Father I recognize that my success is not down to my strength but your wisdom. I sharpen my edge through your wisdom that is at work in me. Through wisdom I train up myself in the way that I should go in my life, pursuit and purpose, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
